yo yo yo!!! what up! i have the best news! cory harris, my boyfriend, was just baptized sunday night! how awesome is that! i can tell he is going to do great things... he has a sister my age, that he is already working on. i cant wait to see what happens.... :)

so father's day has, for as long as i can remember, always come on the first sunday of the southside lectures. lectures this year started on june 13th this year mind you. so, without checkn out a calendar, i assumed this year it would be no different.right? makes sense......so last sunday comes around and i had already bought my dad his gift, i put my little sister's name on it, she made a card, i signed it, and we did our usual father's day morning routine. my dad goes "oh i thought father's day was next sunday". i reassured him that he was mistaken and that it was indeed this sunday. so he says ok and takes the gift and we get ready for services. as i'm gettn ready i put the radio on, just to check to make sure it was father's day, bc they always mention something about the holiday that is going on. and?..... nothing. not a single thing about father's day. so i'm goin.... uh ok whatever. i come to services and i start telling some dads happy father's day. i couldnt tell you how many men gave me the craziest look. yeah teena was all kinds of wrong. finally someone told me that its the 19th. way to go teena! high five! spirit fingers.... teena is number one...

Yo ! That is straight up crazy ! I remember one time when I thought it was Christmas, so I went and chopped down a tree and decorated it and gave out candy canes to everyone ... boy was I embarrassed when I realized it was September 25th !
