Important People at Creekside Elementary!

On Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, Gov. Riley Came to Athens. He was visiting schools in the fastest-growing areas in Alabama. There were a lot of cameras(even video cameras). A reporter from the Huntsville Times asked me a lot of questions. There was a press conference. I got to see and shake hands with Gov. Riley, Mayor Dan Williams, several board members, the principal, many faculty members, officials in Athens, reporters, and people like that. The governor even gave me his lapel pin!! Everyone(especially the reporters) wanted to see it! We got to tour the campus with all the people that were visiting.

    COOL! The only important person I've met (Concerning law) is Gov. Perdue at a parade... I shook hands with him, and then he drove on in his VIPER... I also know a police officer if that counts
