New Things
I have to say, while I initially did not like the new look, it is growing on me. Not sure about the quality of the picture over there at the left.
New look means new post!
Lots of new things are happening and coming up soon!
My car (the Neon) pretty much was on its last leg. It needed a number of things replaced in addition to the ones we have already taken care of over the past couple of years. So... we traded it in for a Camry. It was sad to see it go. Lots of memories in that car, but the new one is nice and it will get Audrey to work safely and reliably, which is important. Did find some... interesting things when cleaning it out.
Audrey has started her new job and is enjoying it. Plus she's bringing home money! Woohoo1
In about three weeks we will start moving into our new apartment in Houston. We won't be out of old one officially until the middle of August but we will get to spend some time moving and getting situated. Audrey can spend her work days there and come home to Galveston when she has time off. I have school until the 7th of August, so I need to stay here until then.
Last week we opened a week-long prototype for a new therapy clinic for stroke victims. Each student (there were 10 of us) was allowed to evaluate and treat one client for three hours a day, Monday through Friday. At the end of the week, we saw numberous improvements in our clients' functional levels and perceived abilities. It was a wonderful learning opportunity for us and a great success for the participants. It is hopefuly that the clinic will open full time in the fall with a new group of students.

I mean, "backwards, they should be."
