I have too much to say
They say when you have writers' block (never mind who "they" are) to write "I don't know what to say" or "I have nothing to say" over and over until your brain gets so bored it starts giving you ideas.
When it comes to my blog, I have the opposite problem--I have tons of things to tell you about, funny things my kids have said and done, heartbreakingly profound observations on life (ok, well maybe not heartbreakingly), and very little time to convey them to you.
I'm going to take some steps. We'll have to see how they work. First, I think I'm going to drop all of my group memberships, at least for now. (Is there a way to leave a group that you've been made op for?)
I'm going to aim for one post a week--Saturday or Sunday afternoon. And I'll try to keep up with everyone else in the between times.
Elliot's birthday was yesterday--I'll try to post about that before next weekend. So already I'm breaking my self-imposed guidelines...isn't that always how it is?
"I have too much to say. I have too much to say. I have too much to say. I have too much to say....."

Happy Thoughts:
~Elliot right now, is playing with the magnet letters, dropping them on the floor and saying, "Chicka-chicka Boom-Boom!" If you haven't read that book, this won't mean much to you.
~Getting a laptop riser and a cheap keyboard--makes my computer time so much more comfortable!

UPDATE: Ok, so I'm cutting back on my group memberships. I can't drop them all. Please don't have your feelings hurt if I left your favorite group.

i love that he understood the letters falling. have you read him chick chicka 1 2 3 -
My kids like that book-Chicka-chicka Boom-Boom too! How is homeschooling going? -
Just thought of something else-Have you ever been to Enchanted Learning's web site? The fee is really low for a year-$20.00 and it is absolutly GREAT for small kids (bigger ones too). They have any kind of craft idea you could possibly want. They also have all kinds of books to make, worksheets, etc... I love it because anytime we are doing a unit study I can find way more than we can do on our particular unit. Check it out. It's a good supplement. -
Nick starts school on Wednesday...still feeling a little uneasy about it but we've met his teachers and they're great and he's SO excited. Alex will go to preschool two mornings a week starting the 19th. When are you getting started? -
I was telling that particular joke back in college.:) But I have found a motherlode and I staked my claim!:) -
I understand the chicka-chicka-boom-boom comment, which automatically puts me in the married with kids demographic. -
I love "Chicka-Chicka Boom Boom!" We have this book in a board book as well as the "orignal." I love reading it to Caroline and I used to love reading it in my classroom! :) Happy Birthday to Elliot! -
I'm glad you're reading the books...I'm a huge fan.
Just like everyone else.
