HOME...
after being at daughter's for most of the week. Her hubby was on a business trip so I took advantage of some special time with her. I was there from Tuesday til Saturday which is a long time for me to be gone from home and leave 3 guys to fend for themselves. Oh well, it was probably good for them. Of course, she had to work every day but I took advantage of that time to visit with old friends and to shop. One lady whom I had lunch with was like a grandma to my kids when we lived in Louisville and she always makes my favorite dishes when I visit her and her husband. Bean soup (she makes the best!!), homemade pimento cheese and coconut pie!! Thanks Margie!! I also got to visit with my friend Sharon who introduced me to Stampin' Up years ago (my husband is so glad she did that, HA!). Krista and I watched the Olympics and rented movies, we ate at Cheddar's on Friday night which is one of my favorite restuarants and we also ate at Smokey Bones which is now another favorite Louisville restuarant, their bar-b-que is really good and the buy one get one free coupon was good too, we both ate for $10. It was great to spend time with my girl.

Glad you enjoyed your time up here. Had I known you were up you could have come to an archery practice one day. Harry and Margie are such a sweet couple. You definitely get a gold star for the $10 at Smokey Bones - we can't do that! -
Thanks for coming up, I had a lot of fun! Love you! -
was that Mrs. Mindel? They were like g-parents to me when we used to go to Manslick. -
Are they both still living? Mr. Mindel used to give me hugs from the time I was 2 or 3 (and chewing gum) until I married. They are one of the fondest memories of my childhood. -
Would you mind emailing me their address, if you have it? I'd love to drop them a card. My email is mullenpatch2@yahoo.com. Thanks! -
Sounds like you had a lot of good "girl" time! Glad you got to go!!!
