That's awesome jared. I'm happy for shelly and sherry so much as well. Hey, hows your walking doing. I heard your getting a lot better. I 'aught a whip you in volleyball sometime.
Wow, yeah so it's been forever since I last posted...First of all, thank you all for your comments and prayers for my health.
My doctor started me on a new medication called Embrel, and it has really been working out well for me. I haven't used crutches in a couple of months now. That means that I have only been using canes. In fact, I can even walk without any canes! So yeah, I am really improving quickly now.
So, to bring you up to date on my life, I have started college (finally), built a computer with much help from Robert-the-noob, gotten my drivers license (another finally -_-), andddd not too much else.
Computer details: Thor - Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.0 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, 8800GT Akimbo 512 MB, Vista Home Premium 64 bit.
I am in the process of using the EVGA step up deal to exchange my 8800 GT for the new 9800 GTX+.
I have also, of course, been listening to tons of music. I have really grown to like the metal genre, especially symphonic metal. Really most any metal with a female lead singer is ok with me. :D
Nightwish is still my all time favorite, but I also like some songs by Leaves' Eyes, Within Temptation, After Forever, Dalriada, and a little Epica.
Here are a few samples. :)
Nightwish - Amaranth
Leaves' Eyes - Elegy
Within Temptation - Memories
First, happy birthday. Second, thanks for letting me know about the study. I am not sure if I will come up. I might head over to Iowa earlier instead. I will drop you a message when I know my plans.
Jarred, sorry i missed your birthday, I have really been focusing a lot on Marching Band. I heard that your doing pretty well now. If you want to see my bands show, go to my account. It has that, and more details. Mostly about today at District(10-4-08). It was awesome! See you at camp next year.
Hey Jarred, check out this link for a Display Driver Engineer for NVIDIA. Take a look at the requirements of the job. This might help you on your quest to do Benchmarking. http://jobview.monster.com/GetJob.aspx?JobID=59382467&aid=18876415-2518&WT.mc_n=MKT000351
I'm doing really well, thanks! There are a lot of good things happening in my life right now, but even if there weren't, it'd be okay... because I'm just a pilgrim passing through. But needless to say, God has been blessing me greatly, and I am thankful for that. :-)
don't know if you remember me, but I'm Emily Hewitt-I used to come up for Honors Day and I stayed with Sherri a couple times. Just wanted to let ya know you're in my prayers-I hope things get better soon.
Hey Jarred! I'm Daniel Simpkins, a friend of your sister. She seems so nice! I would that all of us could be blessed with one as caring as she is!
She has asked for prayers on your behalf and I just wanted to let you know that you have them! I am lucky to have pretty much perfect health, and I cannot imagine what it would be like to have any major problems. Hang tough and don't let it get you down! If it does discourage you, remember that you've got scores and scores of brothers in sister in Christ to share your burdens with!
Hi Jarred, I am Suzanne. I read your loving sister's blog and just wanted to stop by and send you a little prayer and love. I wanted to add that I work with a woman who"suffers" from arthritis pain as well. I took some time to research osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. I found this info to be useful for her. You may already have heard this helpful advice but thought I'd run it by ya just in case you hadn't. If you feel up to it...it's short and to the point.
life goes well. more doctor visits, more blood drawn, more theries. i am having some blood drawn to see if i have TB hiding in the darkest recesses of my body. if i dont, i can start my medication which we hope will pretty much fix me up very soon. after we get that under controle, we will see if i need any surgery to fix damage on my hips.
so wahts new with you all?
i will leave you with a nightwish video. me and sherri have both grown to like them. :D
So i saw Nightwish Saturday night! it was awesome! Small venue (max capacity 700) there were about 500 people there.
Anette did a great job ... she did "I wish i had and angel" it rocked. The only problem was she could not hit the high notes on Wishmaster and Dark Chest of Wonders.
They did a live version of Creek Mary's Blood with a guest singer who was a local tribesman ... it was unbelieveable! Check out the new CD it is really good.
Check this out when you get a chance...

I don't have your number with me right now or I would call. Rachel's Grandmother passed away yesterday evening. So I won't be able to come over tonight, I have to pack and head down to KY for the funeral. Sorry for the short notice. I'll try to call this evening when I get home.
