ok... so... here's the official announcement...
IM IN LOVE... ashley, dont roll your eyes.... yes you are im watching you... lol
to give you the low down,
i met this girl when i first started my tech school... we've been really good friends, and then finally we started dating... i can honestly say that ive never felt this way before, its like every time i think about her my heart skips a beat. every time i look at her i get these chills down my spine, and every time i think about her when shes not around me, i cry... and unfortunately she wont be around me till christmas... thats right. she finished her tech school, and moved on to the opperational Air Force... in MASAWA JAPAN... yeah you read right, japan... but she didnt leave empty handed.... or should i say empty fingered... Ashley, wipe that look off your face... please... pretty please???? she graduated two weeks ago today... i dressed up in my blues and went to the graduation.... something that was very hard to pull off by the way. anyways, i took her out to eat later that night in my friends mustang you know... roof down, wind blowing in our hair, love songs on the cd player.... and then i took her to the river walk... i had found this spot that sunday and we took a picture... you know the whole waterfall thing in the background... and so i took her back.... looked her in the eyes, and dropped down on one knee... so here it is... IM ENGAGED... we will hopefully have the wedding in December when i fly to Japan to see her... its incredibly hard being without her, but i will survive. i have amazing friends here to help me out, and i have the Lord on my side too...
oh, and my phone died. i got a new one but dont have any numbers.... so call our text me... 210 834 1361

So, I did it... i proved myself and many others wrong. I MADE IT THROUGH BASIC MILITARY TRAINING. beat that... i can tell you how hard it was... how much it kicked my booty, how much more in shape i am... but im not... yet...
BMT changed my life... for the better. it made me into a man and tought me not only how to live and fend for myself but how to live and fend for my brothers and sisters... ive made so many friends here... friends that i will be with for the rest of my life... We started out with 58 people in my flight.... which translates to like a class.... we graduated 45...
we got up every morning at 0430 sometimes as early as 0200 but we never went to sleep before 2230. that is so much stress on a body alone. I had a job to where if someone messed up... i was on my face pushing... i went in doing 23 pushups a min. to one week before graduation doing 75 pushups a minute. went in running a 14:15 mile and a half to one week before graduation running a 9:37 doing 30 situps a minute to doing 64 a minute... you work out every day and it is always hot... try houston summer weather wearing camo in long sleeves and pants
you are always getting yelled at... spit flying into your mouth from your instructors... and you cant show any emotion.... and its hard when they are yelling at someone else not to laugh....
i also found a female at this place... she is probably the most amazing girl ive ever met... she is just awesome.... and manages to get me into trouble all the time lol
Im now in what they call technical training school. im in class ten hours a day... in the same class... and i study.... thats right i said i study for about another 2 or three hours... we average 3 tests a day and i manage to keep a 90 average... the rate to drop out in all of the classes for my job is between 70 and 87% depending on which aircraft you get... if you want to look them up ill either be on a HH-60 helicopter or an AC-130U/H gunship
well, i think im gonna head to the club here... im on like every other night, feel free to drop a line anytime
