I have an idea
Let's have a festival of lights to make the days start getting longer again.
Just kidding, of course. However, I am very glad that the days will soon be getting longer instead of shorter. Looks like this is going to be a bearable winter!
Love to all,
Jody
p.s. Who do you sound better with than yourself? 5:35
p.p.s. Fun with Gregorian sounding "castratism" 3:17

Nice response on Chris's blog. :)
Poor, Dumb Kitty
Punkin likes chewing on plastic. I don't know if it's the sound or the feel, but she does it all the time. Yesterday morning I heard her chewing on gum packaging so I went over to take it away. However, she had already chewed off a piece and had it in her mouth. So then I had to grab her and pry her little tiny mouth open, but of course, she is a cat and she kept running away. Chris was finally able to wrap her in a blanket while I opened her mouth to get a good look. I could just see the piece of plastic in the way back of her mouth - kind of on the back of her throat - where we would never be able to reach it. So I had to take her to the vet to get it removed. They took her to the back and came back a few minutes later holding the piece of plastic with these little tweezer, forcep type things. Luckily for me and my poor, dumb kitty, they did not charge us anything for it! And Punkin is fine. So from now on, we will be extra vigilant in Plastic Patrol.
Love to all,
Jody

LoL. That's very nice of you to do that for her:D
I'm Hungry!
...and I had a weird dream last night. My eyebrows were only about 2 or 3 hairs wide all the way across and they were trimmed short - probably only about 1/8 inch long. Eeeew!!
...and I am NOT pregnant just because I'm hungry and I had a weird dream. These are both very common for me at all times.
We had a good Thanksgiving Day yesterday. It felt so short. I guess I probably should have gotten up before 10:45. And maybe I should have gone to bed before 2:00a the previous "night". It also would have been a good idea to buy a pie crust instead of fighting with one for hours Wed. night. :) Oh well.
Chris, Danielle, and I slept over at my parents' house Wednesday night even though we only live about 20 minutes away. Hey, it's Thanksgiving! Mom and I split up the cooking since Mom and Dad have been going back and forth to NJ over the last week or two. So it was helpful to actually be there Thursday morning instead of having to shower, dress up, pack food, and drive over.
Of course, we had waaaaay too much food for 5 people, but that's half the fun! Mom and Dad had to go back to NJ last night so we took a very large portion of the leftovers home, and I can't wait to eat some more!!! It probably won't last that long. :)
Even though we had a good time, we really missed our other families. Chris called Dale and Selma last night. He put them on speaker phone and we all chatted for a while. I think they had a turkey dinner with the Whipples, but they still had studies to do also - it's not Thanksgiving in Belize!
After Bible study last night, Chris, Danielle, and I came home and sat around the table talking about stuff and eating turkey sandwiches. I love it when the three of us get to be together and not do anything but chat - no tv, computer, puzzles, projects - just talking.
Well, the fun continues for a lot of you today on Friday. I'll be missing all of my family who is together in TN today for Thanksgiving part B. Enjoy the mad libs! Hopefully, someday we'll be able to have a big Medvedik Thanksgiving with everyone! Or maybe we can get together some other time and have a turkey dinner!! :)
Now I'm going to go see about eating some leftover turkey and stuffing!

So...does this mean you can do the introvert thing and talk to yourself and stuff via the internet now, too?! :)
