A funny

I remembered something this morning that I thought others might get a kick out of.

Ok...so we were at our kids newly adopted grandparent's house. (Take a look at my wife's blog for extra details). Taylor (our 4 year old) was having a pretend birthday party with her adopted grandmother. Taylor blew out her candles and then she was asked how old she was. She held up 4 fingers. Then she presented her cake and the candles were blown out. Her adopted grandmother asked Taylor if she knew old she was. Taylor responded with "I don't have that many fingers."

It's good to see you on here a not lurking around on Beth's pleo. We can properly communicate with you now. Are you thinking about moving back this way? Cheryl sure would miss having Beth ride with her when she comes over.

Are you planning on going to lectures this year? We are going and looking forward to it. Plan to go to Orlando before going to Tampa. Plan to do some sightseeing around there. Last year we went to Universal Studios. I've been considering some things like Sea World and Epcot. Not made any definite commitments yet. Any suggestions?

I think I should have a poll to see who thinks I should go to which show.

Cheryl would hate having Beth and Tripp out that way but I wouldn't mind having them closer to us :) I hate that I didn't visit with them before while they were closer. What kind of work are you looking for Tripp?

I know what you mean. My previous job (same company) was IT/Technical and I didn't have the IT background. I had the customer service background and was an extremely quick learner and got my foot in the door and worked my way up to where I am now. When I was working in the IT area I know that a lot of people got their foot in the door by working as a contractor and then were offered permanent positions. I know that is probably not what you are wanting to hear as you are looking for something stable in order to move back. I have always found that there are so many different things that interest me, the key is finding the right position that I can be happy in and feel like I am making a difference. I am kind of feeling the corporate burnout right now. Wishing I had pursued my education degree. I'm still debating heading back to do that at some point. Do you have any previous job experience in the IT field? You can email if you'd rather not post it.

I left ya a question on my blog
    by dragonfly at 01/10/07 7:19PM

It's a new year

That means it's time for a new entry. Now...what do I write? My wife says I don't talk enough to her. How am I supposed to figure out what to write to everyone else? I'll just point you to her to find out about our lives. She is a much better communicator. It is my goal to improve that aspect of my life but I've been saying that for many years. Ok...that's enough for now. Maybe I'll write more next month.

Well it is good to hear I will live after a couple days :)

Good to see a new post. Finally! How about this: Why don't you tell everyone about what you do for work, what you think about Kentucky and tell us some cute/funny stuff the girls have done? There are some ideas from now.

Breaking into the house? That sounds like a good story :)

She said I was lurking too much...

Ok...so I've been lurking for a few days using my wife's account. She told me that enough was enough and I needed to make my own account. I'll probably write very little on here so don't be suprised.

That's enough for this year...

2 hours lurking....does that mean he read all our girly stuff too? And I bet she picked out your name and posted the picture for you too? :)
