There haven't been any arrests yet but they are at least on their way out. I don't know the details of why...yet. I keep reading the newspaper to look for any updates.

NOT! We were in the middle of watching Grey's Anatomy when...
We saw flashlights moving around outside then a boom upstairs (we live in a downstairs apartment) and then "GET DOWN ON THE GROUND!" Beth had gone to the door to see what the flashlights were and was told to stay inside. One officer eventually came to the door and told me that they were executing a search warrant. Because no one is under arrest (yet) they couldn't tell me much. About all he could tell me is that he is a member of the Drug Task Force and there is a federal ATF agent involved. You can draw your own conclusions from that. We'll keep you updated.

And no...I haven't been around here too much. I'm trying to fight my computer addiction. I read a little here and there but I've been limiting my computer time.

Goodnight. Hopefully we can sleep tonight.

Keep up the good work with your friend at church. However, I recommend that you start smaller. Have the person lead just you in a prayer, then encourage him that he has done well. He probably just needs more confidence to lead a public prayer, and a little experience and words of encouragement can go a long way to help with that.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we made it back home. We got back around 11:30 Friday night. Unlike Ms. Dillman, there was no way that I was firing our computer up when we got home. We were ALL in the bed within about 10 minutes of pulling in the driveway. Either my wife or I will be posting more of an update as to how our trip went so check back soon.

I am SO happy you made it back safely! And I'm really glad you got to go!

We left Tampa a few minutes after 10 and got stuck in Atlanta traffic for an hour. Right after getting through most of Atlanta we stopped to get some supper in Marietta. If it wasn't for rush hour we would have been home much earlier!! So, what did you do in Atlanta for so long?

We left at 10 EST and got home a little after 9 CST. I have no problem remembering the time change because of living it all of these years. Brian still has trouble remembering.

As for the camera, I really don't have a size preference--quality/performance if most important. Zoom and speed are also to be considered. So you prefer the Cannons over Nikon?

Hiya Tripp! I left a message on Beth's site as well. It's Jenny (maiden: Burleson) from the good ol' FC days! It's really neat seeing what people have done with their lives in the past several years! Cindy had encouraged me to join. I didn't even know this site even existed until a couple of weeks ago! Anyhow, love to hear what you, Beth, and the kids are up to. I know you keep in touch with my brother-in-law, so I'm sure you know what they've been up to. Glad to hear you guys came back safely from the lectures! Wish I could've been there!

Taylor traced her own hand and then cut it out. We didn't have any idea what she was doing until she was done and showed it to us. We were so proud that we just had to share it with everyone.

I'm glad to see you posted again and had some pictures to show us. I enjoyed the pictures and Taylor did a super job cutting out the hand. I'm just glad she didn't decide to cut her hair like most little kids do. That carrot cake looked yummy.

I don't actually have one. I don't know what I would do with one if I had it. So why do I love them? Well, there is a woman that works next to me. She is the most complaininist (yes, that is a word) person that I've ever been around. If she is there, she is complaining about something. Most of it stems from one of her FOUR husbands or our supervisor. For Christmas, her current hubby gave her an iPod type thingy. Now, she listens to that most of the time and she is absolutely silent. It makes the day much more bearable. There is someone else that comes in shortly before we leave. They are friends. When she comes in, off comes the headphones and the mouth starts raging. I try my best to get out as quick as I can.

I'm sorry, is this 3 posts in one month?? Glad you can post more often than once a month. I have an MP3 player and I really enjoy it! At least she brings it to work and stops complaining for a while, right??

Hey, I thought I would tell you that medicine the doctor prescribed is actually working. I got an antibiotic called "Omnicef" and a cough syrup with codeine in it. The antibiotic seems to be working.
