Me again, i have almost stop using this site so just stop by to say hello. hope everyone has a fun and safe halloween. i will be trucking still so i want get to tricker or treat unless, mmmm, i try trucker treating. yeah i'll use the CB and ask the truckers. many churches are doing trunker treating where everone parks in the church parking lot and hand out candy from their car's trunk. I don't think it would be safe for me to pull into a truck stop and start knocking on truck doors and scream TRUCKER TREAT. so happy halloween to all

Well I have not updated so here you go. I am now running dedicated acount with Toyota plant in Huntsville. I have to leave Hunstville by 0800 to make my pick ups in Tennessee on time. I make three pick up near Knoxville of different engine parts and bring them back every day. We have set appointment times to get loaded at each stop so I have very little time to pee or eat. Once I get back to Huntsville,usually 2000, I drop my trailer and can go home. We do not run on weekends so that is my free time again.

well I have been driving for mcgriff transportation for past two weeks. the runs have been good but i have had truck problems that slowed me down from getting enough miles. i have been able to come home weekends like i wanted with new job. my first run went from birmingham to orlando which is not that far but i woke up that day at 0500 but did not get that load until 1600 because my truck was in the shop so i drove all night to make the delivery by 0700. i had another load like that last week that went from cullman to charlotte because my truck was in the shop again i drove all night to get unloaded early. so i hope this week the loads will be better and hopefuly starting first part of june i will start a set route that picks up engine parts and brings them back to toyota in huntsville.

well friday was last day with KB I had to take truck back to sioux city iowa. instead of paying for plane they would only pay for a bus ticket to get me back to Athens after I drove their truck all the way to them. So it took 24hrs to go 1100miles by bus with only a few stop/layover. it turned out beter than i thought it would be.So now i am searching and filling out applications for all the trucking companies close by home. in a hurry but if i dont post more about the ride do ask me sometime i meet an interesting old man.
