Sorry to keep all in such suspense! Ha ha- but here is our anniversary weekend's highlights. We actually didn't get to as much of museums as we had wanted to, but we did hit 2. First we went to the Indiana State Museum where they were having a Civil War special thing going on. We both really love studying the Civil War, ha I know nerds, right? So, anyway that was fun. This was free for us since we have a membership to the state museum. There is a special “5 Generations of Lincoln” exhibit there. Wow! I don't know how long it's going to be there but if you live here, you should go. It is so interesting. Loved having the time to READ everything there without trying to see where the kids are or whatever. However, this little old lady, who was there with her son and daughter-in-law got lost and her words of “I thought you left me” made me burst into tears. Yes, I love my husband for not laughing at me. ;-)
Then we walked – several blocks- to the Indiana History Museum. If you haven't been, you need to go even if you are not as nerdy as we are. It was just spectacular. It was so nice again to read things without kids pulling on us and telling us it's time to go.
We also found a section in the library/gift store about different counties and cities in Indiana. We both found our “hometowns” and sat and read them. Loved it!
We had lunch at Buca di Beppos. Very yummy. Had a good laugh at the people who were sitting behind us as they were seated and then left to look at the menus alone and obviously have never been there. If you haven't been there, and they forget to tell you and you forget to read the whole menu. Yes, prices look high, but one meal feeds 2-4 people. These people were in panic mode and right when I was ready to turn around and tell them the deal, the waiter came back to calm them down.
We also walked around Circle Center Mall which I love and hate at the same time. It's a good mall and all but I am scared of heights so the escalators in the main mall scare me to death. It usually helps me if I have kids with me to worry about, just me and Brad, I tried to worry about other peoples kids rather they wanted me to or not. It helped.
We shared a Cinnabon, yum. Though they used to taste better, I think. But it was still very good.
We have already made plans for next year, we found places we wanted to eat at that didn't show up on our GPS thingy. Yay!
Well, all the kids are well! For now anyway. Everyone went back to school and it's a beautiful day. I have got so much caught up and will probably go in and help Naarah's class tomorrow. I won't be doing that much longer. In a few months, I will have a 8th grader, a 6th grader, a 4th grader and a 1st grader. So hard to believe!

Dear Wyatt,
Please wake up before after and whilst you are getting sick. That's all I ask.
Love. Mom

Even on a blog :( what did I say about no one else has gotten it? Well never mind, pretend I didn't say that.
3 kids down - I feel the worse for Wyatt. He was just sick with strep, I didn't believe him last night bc he was also acting up and I sent him to Bible study. Woke up and had thrown up in his sleep on my couch. O it was a mess, I could get more graphic but I will spare you the details. So anyway, my get up and go to school speech was to Maggie alone and I won't even tell you why she got up so fast because I love you all too much.
In short it's the stomach virus. :(

With a pukey little girl, I would update! Please pray for Naarah, I'm really starting to worry about her. We spent a long time in the er because she has constant vomiting and her stomach is swollen. They checked her appendix and said it was fine it was fine but I'm not sure. I'm going to call her doctor today. Weird to me if she has some sort of super stomach virus and none of us have gotten it but i would think if it was her appendix she would be dead already. :( i sleep all day and up all night so it's almost our bedtime.
&no improvement today, she is going to her pediatric doc.not that I didn't trust this er doc after all he saved my husband's life over a year ago. Gravy says 'o Naarah you're sick? Ok i will take care of you. You stay in bed I will lay on your feet, now don't move '
SWEET :-)
My kids would sing "punched me to victory" instead of "plunged me to victory" in the song Victory in Jesus! I still smile everytime we sing that song in services!!!
