So...half a can of Wild Cherry Pepsi later...
and I have read/commented on at least half of all those white names glaring at me.
Then I thought, hey, I'll post something. A good idea right...since it's been eons since I've even been on here!
We've been busy, busy, but in fun ways! Theme song of this post would be that "CH-CH-CH-Changes" song...you know the one I'm talking about?
I FINALLY after hours and hours and days of searching for jobs...anything from Interior Design, to CAD Design, to bank tellering, to receptionisting...I got a job at a local restaurant in downtown Woodstock. What a relief, right?
Weeellll, our house went under contract the next weekend. It was the third person to look at our house and she absolutely fell in love with it...and we love her for loving it. She's really awesome and will be married within the year. We don't even know if she's dating anyone or not, but that's the only fate of those that live under that roof. Greg (the first guy) moved in, got married, moved out. Steven, married. Anthony, married. Me..well, married. Robin, married. :) It's the Love House. And we were sad to leave it. Needless to say, I also left the job that was only three minutes from our house and had taken me three months to get. I actually also left two paychecks that I have yet to pick up. That's okay...it was a very fun job. :) And later, when I pick them up, it will feel like free money. :)
So, the past month, I've been packing, got to go visit my FAVORITE NEPHEW IN THE WORLD!!! and my FAVORITE SISTER IN THE UNITED STATES!!! (I can say that right??) I also got to have the shingles!! Woo-hoo!! ;) I was DEAD to the world. That week of my life is gone. I was either asleep, out of it, or asleep. It wore me out. During this time I also took some massive horse pills. I would strongly recommend never getting shingles...or herpes. Same pill...same gargantuan size.
ANYWAY, all that ("that" being job, home, sickness...not nephew) is behind us and we've moved on to bigger and better things...CUMMING!! :) Because we so quickly sold our home (we were expecting it to be months in this market), we didn't have time to find a new one. We looked and looked and looked, but it was obvious we were under enough stress as it was (see above paragraph: SHINGLES), so we put that on hold for a little while. The Hicks, a family from church here in Cumming, have offered us their basement as living quarters until we find a new home! That way we don't have to flush money down the toliet in an apartment. Sooo nice. :)
Something I have come to love by this DAY 6 in Cumming with the Hicks? Getting up early! Steven now rides a commuter bus to work from the Cumming fairgrounds to Downtown ATL. There are multiple times to get on the bus, but he prefers the 6:30 ride. This means leaving by 6:10-6:15 and getting up about 5:45. I'm not one to naturally love to get up early, but it has been great. It's amazing what an extra hour or two in the morning will get you!! This explains me being able to post on Pleonast. :) (Sidenote: if Steven was not getting up in the morning, I would *never* pull myself out of bed before 7...and by 7, I really mean 8)
Sooo. That's what is happening here, with just a few more sips of some WCP left.
Also, do you know why some places of business have apostrophes in their name? Such as Chili's and Lowe's....what are they either "owning" or "is"?? What belongs to Chili?? Lowe is what?? Or is there another reason entirely why this is acceptable?
Okay, my WCP is gone and so am I...

How does a road trip to exciting, exotic Huntsville sound??? Evan misses his Auntie! :) -
Hey Anna! You have been busy. We are doing well. Jeremy got a new job in February, so the end of October until then was pretty rough. But things are looking up. I am still working at Carrabba's two days a week. I like the break to get out of the house by myself. I am trying to get a teaching job at Nathaniel's school for the fall. I have a wonderful neighbor and friend who wants and needs to keep Micah and Kylee. Hopefully it will all work out. Okay, call me stupid, but what is H and R????? -
Hey Anna!Thank you for keeping Melinda in your prayers.I miss you!Hope you are doing good!Love ya! -
I saw you mentioned Dan in Real Life on Tracy's blog. Have you seen it? I was wondering if it was good and if it was clean. -
so THAT'S why? i haven't lived in your old house?? :o) -
Hey Ninja, leave some cake for me!! I'm thinking me, you, a case of wcp's and two bags of reese's and a full tank of gas. We're Ninjas! we can go anywhere! -
H&M is short for Heinz and Moritz. They are a FABULOUS (google 'em) Clothing line. It's good to hear that the good people in ATL finally have access to one! That makes my transition a tad bit easier... :) -
are you still making sacks? I saw your website a while ago but was curious if you guys were still doing it? I have always prided myself on not having to carry a purse and really enjoyed the freedom. However, my life is about to undergo a big change when I have to start working at the hospital; I'm going to need a bag/sack/non-laptop case to put my stuff in. I refuse to be caught wearing a purse...ever...so I was curious about your simple sacks. (I know that ultimately purse versus sack is simply a war of semantics, but I choose to fight that war to the last, ha ha) -
What was the name of your plant that I didn't water while you were gone because I thought you wanted me to water your bamboo? -
P.S. I saw Lydia at Jordan Park on Sunday night and got to meet your cute nephew and your parents! -
-
Hey! Congrats on your new job! How is Simple Sack going? I finally decided to set up shop on etsy ... I'm working on making a banner and stuff and getting set up. I searched for you and saw your have The Simple Sack screenname reserved (at least I assume that's you!) but didn't have any listings so I was curious how things were going with that! Anyway, sounds like life is busy and wonderful for you! Hope to see you sometime! -
hey anna!! this is Courtlyn from GA camp!! -
You definitely need a new post!! :) With pictures!! -
hey anna you definitely need a new post -
So watching the beach volleyball Olympic games has me reminiscing about our old Sunday night volleyball games and your stellar v-ball skillz. :)
