What Jesus Endured

John 1:1-5 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it."
John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth."
John 1:29 "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"

‎11° (feels like 1°) moving toward a high of 18° ... beautiful Winter morning, the sun is bright on the sparkling snow. What a lovely day to go and spend with my brothers and sisters in Christ worshipping the Creator of all things ... but then, when is it a bad day to do that :-)

2 Corinthians 5:1

"For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."

Tomorrow 11/11/2010 would have been Rebekah's 20th birthday. Time on earth is fleeting, we all should focus less on this "earthly tent" and more on the "eternal" "building from God" in the heavens.

In memory of Rebekah LeAnne Henderson

Don't get on here much, but in times like these you realize the comfort of social networking. My niece Rebekah was killed in a car crash last night. Please keep my brother Dan and his wife JoBeth in your prayers ... a parent is not supposed to have to bury their child. Also keep Rachel & Andrew Armitage, Ruth and Isaac in your prayers, losing a sister is hard, these kids were so close with each other, the love they showed for each other was awesome, no other word to describe it! Keep the rest of us Hendersons in your prayers as well as we travel to Jasper, TX.

If you haven't told your loved ones you love them today, do it before it's too late!
