A few weeks ago, some
friends of ours got a new game called Dominion. We played it with some more friends one Friday night... and it was so much fun that by Sunday afternoon two more of us had also purchased Dominion: Intrigue (which is both a stand-alone version and an expansion to the original). Then we saw THIS (see below) on Amazon:

It's the original game plus the Prosperity expansion and the Alchemy expansion.

I can't wait to play it.
Ok. Bye.

This story is about a police officer who was a friend of a (friend of a ... etc) co-worker of mine. He (the police officer) had a Rottweiler and his neighbor had a cat, and he had a really bad feeling that his dog would one day kill that cat. Well, one morning he came home from work (he had been working 3rd shift) and he found his dog tossing the cat around. He ran into his yard, took the cat away from his dog and confirmed its deadness. It looked terrible. He rushed it inside, washed it in his bath tub, blow-dried it with a hair drier, and then went out and placed it respectfully on his neighbor's porch. (The motive was not explained to me, but I imagine he wanted to make it look like the feline had merely expired on its own near their front door.) The next day, when he got home from work around 6am, his neighbor was waiting for him in his driveway. His neighbor said "Officer, there are some sick people living in this neighborhood. Our family cat died, and we buried him last week.... and someone has dug him up, cleaned him off and put him back on our front porch."
Ok. Bye.

I'm in the market for a new Bible because the binding on mine has let go of 1 Peter through the maps. We went to a bookstore yesterday to look at Bibles, but I didn't see what I was looking for. I would like a NKJ, NAS or ESV with references like cross references, maps, concordance and a topical index, and NO commentary. My current Bible has a ~300 page topical index at the beginning that is very helpful for locating verses on certain subjects and I generally find it more useful than the usual back-of-the-Bible concordance. It's handier than a shirt pocket, as they say. But it's a feature I haven't seen very often, and even searching the publisher's website has been a fruitless effort.
Do you know where I can find such a Bible, or at least a good place to look for one?
Ok. Bye.

Last week I sent my office manager an email (with a picture of Leila attached) saying that this sweet little three year old girl had never been to her Grandma and Grandpa's house and please, please, please can you give her Daddy the week of Thanksgiving off so their family can go up to Rhode Island. My vacation request was very quickly approved.
I. Can't. Wait.
I'm. So. Pumped.
Gonna. Eat. Turkey.
Three. Word. Sentence.
O. Kay. Bye.
