I think it's still habit from back in the day when pleonast was the new myspace and the pre-facebook.

I graduate on Friday and this time next week I will be at or very close to... HOME.
I am excited about graduating... because, well, it will be a new experience, home schooler that I was (am). I get excited just thinking baout getting to wear a real cap and gown and getting a tassel and getting a diploma and walking...
...and then l I realize that I'm graduating... which means many of my friends are too, which means they're leaving, and there's always that chance that I will never see them again this side of heaven.
...and then I realize how blessed I have been to be at Florida College the last two years. I look back at all my memories, experiences, achievements... and most of all, the life-long friends I made, and am grateful for every moment. There were ups and there were downs, but overall, college has been the most rewarding experience in my life so far.
...and then I realize that, in order to graduate I have to pass my classes. And that I have become master of procrastination. So much so that I have resorted to posting on Pleonast.
...and then I realize how anxious I am for summer and how I will have no classes to worry about. I have so many plans including working, exercising, crafting, painting, preparing for next year's yearbook... among many other things.
Yes.. that has been my thought process lately. From excitement to sadness to gratefulness to lala land to ready to be on break.
How can my first two years at Florida College be over already? I remember Joycelyn's move-in day so clearly.. and my move-in day the next year.. and my sophomore move-in day. I never though that move-out day would come so quickly. It's not completely move-out for me though. Many of my belongings will head to Terrace basement for the summer and wait there for me until August on my third but not last move-in day. I will be at this wonderful school for two more years, Lord willing, and will earn my bachelor's in Liberal Studies.

...ready to be home. I have one class, one math assignment, one paper, one group project, one paper rewrite, and three finals before I go anywhere. Not to mention cleaning, packing, and a few naps here and there.
I'll stop procrastinating and get back to this paper...

Cracker Barrel: called on thursday, interview on saturday, hired on wednesday, called on monday for orientation on saturday and tuesday. Today I got a call to work (for real) on saturday.
Not complaining. Just thankful. :)
