April - September

We felt we needed a six month break from our rigorous Pleo posting. To catch up.. Over the summer we:

participated in a play at the G-town library (A & E)
continued piano lessons (A & E)
finished soccer... and started again (A & E)
took an advanced diver course (B & T)
received purple, blue, and red belts in Tae Kwon Do (A & E)
went to a family reunion in East Texas
witnessed a wedding
attended VBS in Lufkin and Cedar Park
watched B in the softball tournament in Fort Worth
went to camp for the first time (A)
stayed with grandparents for a couple of weeks (A & E)
scuba dived in Grand Cayman (B & T ..dived or dove?)
entertained lots of family members
gained a year in age (T & E)
explored Pioneer Farms
ate
slept

and now you're caught up. :)

Pics coming soon. I'll ask my technical staff to get right on that.

Sounds exciting, but I'm sure that B & A will also gain a year in the coming days!

Tackfluenza Reported in North Austin!

Tacker Household Quarantined!

Tami was the first to catch Tackfluenza on Sunday, March 9. She was not available for comment due to intense coughing.

Bryan was reported to say "I don't feel good" on Friday, March 14. It's been a rocky road for Mr. Tacker since then. He refused Tamiflu intervention and has since suffered the consequences. Luckily, his fever has disappeared. The cough, however, is still lingering.

The brown-haired cutie Abby received the flu mist back in December. We have confirmed that the vaccine is not enough to resist the Tackfluenza. She started her journey into the land of cough on Tuesday night. Her fever has also broken and she seems to be feeling much better.

Our blonde resident Emily has avoided the disaster so far. She was given Tamiflu so she wouldn't catch Tami's flu. The parents in the house have been sharing Emmy's Tamiflu with Abby in recent days. But, we may have found the secret of her superior immune system. "I have my cheese of the day every day."

On the upside, Abby learned how to make waffles last week. Notice the Tamiflu box behind the waffle iron. Ignore the chocolate milk marks on Abby's mouth.

Both the girls had soccer games at 11:30. The weather was so beautiful, and the temperature was perfect.

Abby was trying out for most injured player. She had to come out of the game 2 times because of different collisions with other players. She has a nasty bruise on one leg where a cleat bit her. On the other, she slid on the ground while defending the goal.

Emily's team was against impossible odds. The other team was sponsored by Texas Outdoor Power. They knew how to play. It didn't help that it was 3 girls against 3 boys. She tried her best, but they couldn't take the ball home.

Yay, you're finally on. Now you can really know what is going on :) Your girls are cute. Let's hang out soon!
