I finally make a new post. Sorry it has been so long.

My little girl is growing up. Last night she made me proud by picking up her small, stuffed Spider-Man (yes, than means she has more than one Spider-Man) and taking him to bed with her. You can't beat seeing this smile on her face when you come in the door after work and she's waiting because she heard the garage door go up.

I took the quiz I saw on Kent and Tyler's blog to see what superhero I would be and couldn't be happier with the results. James Bond first, Amazing Spider-man second. What do you think?

You scored as
James Bond, Agent 007. James Bond is MI6's best agent, a suave, sophisticated super spy with charm, cunning, and a license's to kill. He doesn't care about rules or regulations and somewhat amoral. He does care about saving humanity though, as well as the beautiful women who fill his world. Bond has expensive tastes, a wide knowledge of many subjects, and his usually armed with a clever gadget and an appropriate one-liner.

Well you have to admit, it was a better season than any of us could have expected from the Houston Astros back in May. You have to be proud of a bunch of good guys over-achieving like they did and giving the White Sox all they wanted for four straight games. Chicago was apparently just the better team, but that doesn't mean I have to like them. I'll probably always feel a little nausea when I hear the word "Konerko". I'll get a chill down my spine when someone says "Crede" and bristle at "Buehrle". I won't like "Garland" even during Christmas. All those words, and others, just remind me of a brief second when I wanted to kill a guy named "Dye". Will I ever be able to not hold a grudge against the San Diego Padres for trading Geoff Blum to Chicago at the end of the season, just in time for him to come off the bench and hit a homerun in the 14th inning of game 3. I think I'll even use "Podsednik" as a synonym for "jerk". For example,
"Most of the White Sox seem like pretty good guys, but Pierzynski looks like he's probably a podsednik." I'm not even going to eat as much for Thanksgiving dinner this year because if I got too full, I might be reminded of Bobby Jenks' big gut. Anyway...the most important thing to remember at the end of baseball season is that now it's time for
HOUSTON ROCKET's basketball.
UPDATE: Just thought I'd post a picture of the current World Series Champions... celebrating?!? Now I'm definitely feeling sick! Feel free to leave your own captions for this picture.
