My Special Mommy Talents

I can hear a passy drop from anywhere in the house.

I know the how to tell between a hurt, bad hurt, annoyed, something has been taken away from me, I have a poo poo and cant go to sleep cry....

I can understand jibberish.

I can talk on the phone, help a child color, hold a child in my lap with a huge belly while making them stop turning the light switch off and on all at the same time. Lets see a guy do that!

What are some of your special mommy talents?

The multi-tasking talent is by far the best and the most under-rated! LOL! I can talk and listen at the same time.

As I get older, I seem to be losing some of those talents you mentioned. Maybe it's that I don't need them so much now that the kids are bigger. It's amazing what a mom can do when she has to.

no mommy talents yet, but as far as colors go, I am thinking fall colors. Browns and reds and oranges and yellows and greens, oh my!

When the dog isn't doing exactly what Reagan wants I can "talk" for Maggie & smooth things over b/w them. I can cook & do spelling words at the same time. I can read books using multiple character voices. And I can love more than I ever thought possible!

Super hearing, super intuition, and I like to call my nursing cover my "super mommy cape" because producing milk and sustaining life is such a cool talent!

The power to sense sickness coming a day away, the power to make smiles out of frowns, the power to keep monsters away from closets and beds, etc.
