I can't believe it has been a year since my profound last post! I feel the urge to post again, but lack the time and/or energy to do so at the present time. I will before another year passes, I promise! I hope you all are doing well. 3

Does anyone know of a sound congregation near Addison, Texas? I have to attend a conference for work there in April, and need to find a place to worship on Sunday night. Thanks for your help. An update is in the near future...maybe. :P

As the semester goes on, I find the amount of things on my to-do list more overwhelming everyday. This is definitely the most challenging semester of my academic career, and I find myself struggling to keep my head above the water. I try to sleep, but all those things I need to get done run through my head and I feel as if by lying there thinking about them I am wasting time as I should be doing something. Tonight a song crept in between those thoughts and reminded me of the most important thing on my to-do list that is often the easiest to forget or let slide. I'll post the lyrics below. I hope everyone's week is off to a great start and I apologize for such a blah post. As depressing as it may sound, I am rather optimistic about things I just needed an outlet for those that are weighing on my mind right now. Next time will be better, I promise. :) Now, here are those lyrics...
Take time to be holy, speak oft with thy Lord;
Abide in Him always, and feed on His Word.
Make friends of God’s children, help those who are weak,
Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek.
Take time to be holy, the world rushes on;
Spend much time in secret, with Jesus alone.
By looking to Jesus, like Him thou shalt be;
Thy friends in thy conduct His likeness shall see.
Take time to be holy, let Him be thy Guide;
And run not before Him, whatever betide.
In joy or in sorrow, still follow the Lord,
And, looking to Jesus, still trust in His Word.
Take time to be holy, be calm in thy soul,
Each thought and each motive beneath His control.
Thus led by His Spirit to fountains of love,
Thou soon shalt be fitted for service above.
Love and God bless!
