TRL IV - Recap

This weekend was amazing! TRL IV is now done and in the books. We had a total of 131 attend and I’ve couldn’t of asked for a better atmosphere. I truly enjoyed everyone’s company and enthusiasm. I loved how everyone was taking care of everyone and looking out for each other. I loved how even though it was 3:00 in the morning, everybody sang their heart out. I loved hearing the sounds of laughter echoing from the entire gym. I loved hearing one of my best friends speak on having passion, strength and humility. I loved hearing the sounds of “Ohhhh” when the soccer ball would land on somebody’s face. I loved the sound of my whistle. Lol.

Once again the Texas Rock Gym staff told me several times how much they enjoyed our group being there; hearing that meant the world to me. It’s an honor to have young men and women who act first class and especially act in a way that God would be proud of.

Thank you all so much for making this year’s Texas Rock Lock what it was and for those of you who missed it, you really missed out. I would like to thank Brett H, Will C, Brad H, Lisa L, Brad W, Jonathon B, Christine C, Adam L, Jesse L and Mike T for helping me make TRL IV run so smooth. Thank you to all the parents for driving and picking up your kids. In addition, thank you for bestowing the trust in me and this event. Also I would like to give a big shout-out to the crew at Blue Cotton; thank y'all for helping me with our event shirts this year.

Well, I plan on doing this again next year so keep those calendars clear; if things don’t get in the way I would like to have next year’s TRL V on July 10-11, 2009. Also, If you have any photos from TRL IV, I would love a copy of them. Please send them to axgarza at gmail dot com.
