Softball...

The things we do for our significant others. Well, Jeff and I have been in this softball league for a while. Don't get me wrong. I love to be athletic and get a good workout in. HOWEVER, I love to do it by way of volleyball or basketball. SOFTBALL? Not my favorite sport. I've made several friends over the last year, but for whatever reason I don't feel as if I am getting extremely better from when I started. Jeff revealed to me last night WHY I have been struggling.

It seems, I don't want to catch the ball. I shouldn't be praying and begging God for the ball not to go in my direction every time the batter goes up to bat. Instead, I should be hoping for it to come into my direction. ONLY THEN, will I start believing that I can be better.

So tonight I will stop praying for the ball NOT to come in my direction. Instead, I will be praying not to get hit by the ball coming in my direction. :)

    I love softball. *sigh* played it for many a year growing up. I ALWAYS wanted the ball to be hit in my direction. :-)

    I HATE softball. I will play almost any other sport, but would rather sit in te bleachers when it comes to softball.
