My brother-in-law, Doy Moyer has an entry that I think is worthy of all us to read. This world may lose a good soldier for Christ but Heaven will certainly be brother Norton's gain. May we all strive to have this much faith and zeal for the LORD.

What an example! I'll have to wait till I get home to view the video.
Thank you, we surely enjoy worshiping the Lord and visiting new congregations and making new Christian friends. Whenever we go to another congregation we are usually the last ones to leave cause we stay and visit with the folks there too long. It never ceases to amaze us how at home we feel with God's people, no matter where they are.
I wanted to share papa's lesson for today. Let's all have JOYFUL HEARTS!
My lesson tomorrow will be, "The Christian's Happiness". We who are Christians are the most blessed people in the world. But, sometimes we do not act like it. We need to stop and count our blessings more often and realize just what we have to look forward to and to enjoy what we have right now, today. Too often we get cumbered down with the physical part of living. Yes, we all have a life to live but we can still be happy in Christ. We are told not to worry or to be overly concerned about our lot in life (Matt. 6:25-34). Christians know that this life is not all there is to our existence. We have hope of heaven(Col. 1:5). We have a Savior who cares for us (1 Pet. 5:7). We can have a greater influence on the world by being the happy people that God intended we be. Being long faced won't lift others up or inspire others to follow the Lord if I am always negative and bleak. Besides, being sad is not nearly as beneficial to your health as being happy. "A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones" (Prov. 17:22).
For another great read go to her blog. Very encouraging words all around.
May you all have a blessed Lord's day!

I got to here that ^^ lesson and it was very good indeed. To be happy is to be content. Love you!
Lisa, what a precious memory you told me of. May I have "Papa's" permission, I would like to copy the photo for my teaching files, a man reading the Bible?
I am always caught in amazement when Christians tell me their are searching for happiness. . . Do we really understand what kind of gift He gave us??!
Thanks for the info. We actually visited back in March on a Sunday evening at your church, and we liked it alot! My brother and I will be going to Wheeler High school, so my parents are looking for houses in Union township.
