Yes, the Christmas decorations are up. I will try to post a picture soon. My husband is very jolly this season, so our tree and house lights were up the week before Thanksgiving.

It's almost time for Winter Kamp 2009 and I'm in charge of the New Year's Eve party, which actually falls on NYE for the first time in a few years. Can someone remind me what the chosen theme is? Cartoon characters? I've got to start buying things to decorate. :-)

Last night, Stacey and I splurged on 7-Eleven hot chocolate and drove around looking at Christmas lights on million dollar houses. That's one of our favorite holiday time traditions. What's one of yours?

Last night we set up our Department 56 Snow Village collection. For the first time, we're in house where we can get it ALL out and set it up without crowding it all together. We have quite a bit collected and his parents have promised us their full collection which is amazing. Your tradition sounds so fun. I'm hoping we can go see lights soon.

It starts on Monday.

"Meet the Teacher" night was quite successful.

My parents even came to see my room and meet my team.

I seem to have a sweet bunch this year, for my homeroom anyway.

I have 120 total, so there's bound to be some stinkers.

Overall, I am very excited to begin my second year of teaching.

Hi I am a teacher too. How do you like the teaming thing? This is our school's first year to do it...its kind of been a slow process of getting used to it and all the changes...but it definitely has its advantages
