If I Had You for Just a Day


If I had you for just a day,

What things would we do or say?

Shall we sing and pray?

May we freely watch the jay?

Whatever we decide will be okay.

As we observe the beauty of the One whom we portray,

What peace it brings to behold a sunset on the bay.

I will thank Him always for the day

I had you for just a day.

    People come into our lives. Some people stay for a long time, others not so long. I believe everyone who comes into our lives is there for a reason. It's not always necessary for us to know the reason. It's also not up to us to decide how long someone gets to stay in our lives. I want all who have touched my life to know that I am grateful for them. All relationships whether positive or negative have become an influence in my life for learning, growing, edifying and building up. Thanks be to the Lord for all.

    I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving also. I have been quite busy again. We just got back from a trip to Disneyland and the day we got back, Mom and Dad came to town for Thanksgiving. They went home yesterday (Sunday) and now we've been working on organizing the house more...particularly the kids' rooms. I went grocery shopping tonight and now it's time to get some rest. Have a wonderful day! I will post again soon.
