So, it’s been what, a year? Time for some pictures then I suppose!
I went to Ohio to see Raymond’s family this June.

David and Raymond played wiffle-ball.

And Raymond broke the bat.

Raymond and his dad also roasted a lot of coffee.

Raymond likes poking electrical appliances with metal objects.

The finished product.
We also lit Peeps on fire.

Yum!
We also made a fire.

Amy and the best stick in the world.

Watching all those old black and white movies probably wasn’t the best influence on us.
We made pizza…

And I got to meet Little Willie.

Here he is not speaking to me.

Amy and Little Willie.
I also got to see my buddy Tasha.

Happy :) …

Sad :’(

Raymond and his mom.

I’ll just let you decide what’s going on in this picture.
When we got back to Houston we went to Brazos Bend to see alligators.

Moss = love
If you don’t like gross things, skip the next picture.
Not only did Raymond see an alligator for the first time, but he also saw an alligator eating another alligator.

Pretty crazy!
Then we all went to California to see my aunt.
It was raining the day we left and the bus left us for about 20 minutes standing out in the rain.

It was sad.

Very sad.
But we got to our flight on time. And then Raymond got to take some really awesome photos.

When we got there, we all wore awesome hats.

Mine had a cape.
While shopping, I found these in a store.

I almost bought it because of the old school Sonic but I REALLY hate energy drinks, so I decided against it. (And that probably wasn’t the best name for the drink anyway…)

Caudill women.

Someone is watching you…

Contemplating the giant pig.
We flew all the way to CA to get butter from…

Houston? Hmm…
Raymond cooked dinner…

And made some new friends.

Arshile
Look out for Raymond and his lazer cat!

Here’s a nicer one of Lily.
And of course, there were flowers:

As long as I don’t run into them, I like thistles.

All from the garden.

And of course we had to put them in our hair.

Since Raymond had never seen the Pacific before, Allie, Raymond, and I all decided to go to the ocean.

Allie and I doing a dance?

We ate PB&J sandwiches for lunch.

Apparently triangles were not allowed. :(

Allie and I decided to bury our feet in the sand.

Raymond did not approve and left us behind.

Allie tried making a dinosaur footprint, but it only turned out to be Big Bird.
We eventually caught up with Raymond.

These plants were all over the beach.
So Raymond decided to go all “caveman” on them.

Allie’s footprints are on the left. Mine are on the right. I never realized that I walk that funny until I looked at my tracks in the sand.

The water was not safe enough to swim in (much less warm enough) so I just got my feet wet.

Every time a wave came, Raymond told me, “If a wave carries you out to sea, I’m not saving you.” :-P
Then we went back to my aunt’s house and went to the creek.
Raymond and Allie skipped stones.

I tried to, but I could not, so I just chunked rocks in the water.

Arshile sleeping on Raymond’s bed.

Tree hugger.
The end!
If you actually made it to the end, I give you a gold star of excellence.
Happy 2012!!
ditto to what ^she said.
