I live in New Jersey now. With my wife. And my dog. And all I do lately is watch The Office on Netflix on my Xbox 360. Life is good.

WHOA! He's updating!? OH MY GOOOOOOODNESS! haha It's only been 6 months or so since I last updated...but then it's been about 3 months since I logged on. But that's because I've been without internet access in my home. And there are good reasons for that.
I moved into an apartment with my friend Dirt in January. 2 days later, a girl ran thru a red light and hit me in the bed of my truck. Although, that was really a blessing in disguise because I had hit a mailbox in the same area some months earlier and she just bashed it all in further. Don't worry, I didn't take advantage of her and gte other repairs fixed. She just damaged the previous damage even more. Either way, after about 2 months of insurance battles, I finally got my truck fixed and she had to pay. There really was NO argument in this case considering I had a witness that saw it happen and had the exact same story as me AND the police report listed her as being at fault. But you know how insurance companies are. =(
At any rate, I moved out. And then in mid-March, things just really weren't working out with my job of 2 years, namely my new supervisor/old friend was being a ginormous bag o'douche, and I quit there and spent the following week in New Jersey. Upon returning, my girlfriend and I went to see Anberlin, Bayside, Meg & Dia, and Jonezetta in Nashville on April 1. That was one of the best shows I've ever been to. Anberlin is SOOOO good live. Actually, every band was good live. And I wasn't even that tired when the show was over so the 2 hour drive back to E'town really wasn't that bad. The next day, I started work at my new job at the newspaper in town. That lasted all of three days. Actually that was all I was scheduled for that week. On my off time, I went and found a better paying job that would give me more hours. So now I work at AGIpolymatrix making DVD cases. We also make the Blu-Ray cases and the HD-DVD cases. I really like this job too. I like everything about it better than I liked being at Summit Polymers. Summit doesn't treat its employees like people. More like slaves. I was working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Barely had time for anything.
Especially not all the drinking and partying my roomate was doing. Now as most people who know me already know, I don't drink. Although somehow, I was never there when the parties were going on. If I happened to be off work, I was over at Kristen's house just because life in the apartment was getting ridiculous. Every time I came home, I'd find beer cans all over the place. My VERY-BRIGHT roomate also decided to get a puppy when I was gone to NJ. Oh, I forgot to mention, we lived in a BASEMENT apartment! Thus PUPPY = STUPID BAD IDEA! And he never took care of it so it just pooped and peed all over the floor. So there were beer cans, liquor bottles, puppy droppings and everything all over the floor. But what really took the cake was the fact that I got off work one morning at 7am and came home to find some naked, drunken little screw-up sleeping in my bed. This was Saturday morning. I had all my stuff moved out by Monday night.
My aunt gave me a trailer to live in. So now I have my own place, rent-free! All I have to pay is utilities and such. It's great. And she's about to put another one in its place with 2bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. PLUS it has a jacuzzi! OHHH YEAHHHH!!! Lol, like I really need that. Oh well. I'm just glad I had a place to come back to and people that love me enough to take care of me. Regardless of how many times it's been said, it really is true:
There's no place like home.

So last night Kristen and I went out. We had planned on going bowling with my friend Rusty after we ate at Texas Roadhouse. Well, when we got to the Roadhouse, it was packed. Stuffed to the rafters. But as we got out and walked inside, the lady in SUV beside us was walking in too. She told us that she was taking her little vibrating alram thing back in because they told her and her husband that it would be a 60-70 minute wait. Then she told us that if we wanted to take hers and go in as a "J. Thomas", we were more than welcome to have their reservation because her husband didn't want to wait. Ha so we jumped right on that. Then we proceeded to sit and wait in my truck for the next hour or so. Ha and i played my favorite game: "Guess the artist" on my iPod. Out of 150 songs that were played, there were only 3 that I didn't guess right. hahaha Finally we got in a little before 8..we were supposed to be at the bowling alley at 8 and we hadn't even ordered our food yet when Rusty had called me. So we ended up having to take a rain check on that. This was the first time I'd not ordered a steak at a restaurant in a LOOOONG time. I only had a cheeburger and I couldn't even finish half of it so I took it home with me. But at least we had a stellar server so I made sure to tip her well. Then we headed off to the theater.
We went to see The Hitcher. (P.S. Don't waste your time.) The movie didn't really make any sense at all. Like, if you think about it, the entire storyline really didn't have any conceivable reason for it to happen and it wasn't believable at all. And there were at least 3 times the movie should have ended but it just kept on going. And the ending was kind of a letdown. All in all, I give it 1 star out of 5. And to make matters worse were the jacktards behind us that kept talking all through the movie and kicking the back of Kristen's seat. And then the 15/16 year-old emo kids that kept walking back and forth in front of the screen. I guess their little emo bladders weren't big enough to hold all of the water in the cup that they payed a quarter for cuz lyke, they don't have jobs and they save all their lunch money for the movie cuz lyke they don't need to eat anyway, eaters get fat. lyke, 4 seriously! And I mean come one, lyke they ken even drink carbonated beverages, GET REALZ! hahaha...emos.
I think the best part of the movie was at the end of it when one of the emos started to attempt the "slow clap" and a few other tardfaces in the middle of the audience started clap. At that point, I turned to my girlfriend and said, "Wow. One slow clap slowly inspired an entire wave of ignorance." hahaah and she just kinda lost it right there. And then we pretty much just kinda came home.
All in all, today was pretty uneventful in my life, as for at my girlfriend's house, that's another story that I'll have to tell later in a separate entry but I'm pretty tired roight about meow. so yeah. Good night, fools. (Although it may or may not necessarily be in the PM/early AM hours when you read this. )
