Grandad and the Critters!

So, I am updating again because Gran and Grandad have been VERY busy! First of all, think of Bill Murray in the movie "Caddyshack" trying to get rid of gophers! Now, here's Grandad trying to think of ways to get rid of the squirrels and birds that are enjoying the buffet of dogwood seeds that he is trying to plant! One thing he's trying is: getting a live animal trap and putting popcorn in it so that when he catches a bird, he can go and release it somewhere far away from their house! Also, he's recording Halloween sounds and a motion detector to scare off the critters. Gran informed me that one year he installed a red strobe light to go off. Also, there seems to be a rogue squirrel invading the "Bat Cave". He's gotten very brave and just watches them. Grandad actually threw his hat at him the other day, and the squirrel just looked at him! Now, for the family, remember the little holes in the screen door!! Hopefully, when we see them next week, we can help with the web.

The funny thing is, he sat inside the house with a BB gun, waiting for the squirrels to appear, and shot THROUGH the screen!!!!

the squirrels do know when he's coming. we have to pump the gun inside the house and then sometimes are able to sneak out the front door and surprise them.

Technologically Challenged!

Okay, so I am posting this because the ones responsible for this group are technologically challenged! It's been so cold in their house, that Grandad had to use a hair dryer to warm up the computer just to use it! Plus, they can't find their e-mail, so don't try to send them anything to their new OR old e-mail address! And, she tried to show Grandad how to get on pleonast, but he wasn't able to. So, I guess for now, we have to wait for warmer weather and some one to show them how it works!

Sounds like Grandad... using a hairdryer... he has been so busy lately, the last thing on his list is to get online!

He used a hairdryer to dry off a new born calf in our bathroom at home when we were growing up! The hairdryer: it can do ANYTHING!

well, they got a new dining room table and the computer had to leave. no room in there for that anymore. they just need to turn the gas heater on in there. hopefully, w e will be able to go down soon. i don't know what the e-mail problem is.
