Let's have a recap of this past week.

the apartment is looking good, stuff getting organized, still at 55 degrees bc dan doesn't want the heat on yet.

work is getting better, i actually have fun there sometimes. at least i have some good stories.

twilight 2 is out? it still is beyond me why that is so popular. things like that disgrace me to be a woman.

the sun has returned to st. louis, i had forgotten how bright that thing is.

i have officially started to get some things done for the wedding, seeing as it is now a month away.


and we have been entertaining ourselves with Trunk Monkey ads. this is our favorite...

So here I am again.


Had a rough day today... working with kids with Autism is very challenging. It's such a crazy complex thing.

I will be coming home beat-up. Literally. Today luckily I just got screamed at and pinched to death. It's not fair I can't pinch back.



I've noticed that I find myself more and more trying to detach myself from... everyone.
I would so prefer to keep in my own little circle of a few people, and ignore everyone else. People frustrate me.
Whether it's because we disagree politically, religiously, or people who are just plain immoral, or have ignorant opinions..
My tolerance for them has drastically lowered....aaaaaaand that's probly not a good thing. Well I know it's not a good thing.
But then again, I also think some people have too much tolerance.


Um, anyway.. so we have pretty much both the cutest and worst dog in the world. Good to know it wasn't just me,
because he is bad with anyone... He doesn't respond to getting whooped- he either tries to get aggressive or acts like
it doesn't hurt... No matter how hard it is. Purposely defiant. So we have had to be creative.
Also he is very manipulative and smart about his bad behavior. He knows all of our names and also will closely monitor
conversations. I don't even know how to describe him... except possessed by SATAN. (maybe he is a government spy. lol)
But also he is sooooooo cute and sweet most of the time. hahaha. Love him.

Anyway, it's time to heal my wounds so I can head back out to the battlefield tomorrow morning.

So we got the apartment! It was too good of a deal to pass up for the area it's in. So, we will be living in Ballwin, so I know some people SHOULD be excited about that!! (I even remembered how to link names)

My favorite thing about it (its old) is the old fashioned doorbell... it's an actual bell attached to the door and when you turn the little knob, it rings it.. and its really cute. What I don't like is.... some things in the kitchen have been updated, but the oven is kind of a joke. It's gas, of course, and then the knob that you turn for the oven temperature has no numbers on it!! So who knows how hot it is. I guess I have to estimate, which will probably be funny.


Also I did get the job and I think I'm actually really going to like it. I felt really welcome in the classroom and the people were nice.


It seems like the cold weather has officially set in, but I could be proven wrong. But I looove sweater weather and everything that comes with fall. Pumpkin spice lattes, apple cider, walking through leaves, being cozy. It's my favorite. I realized the other day that this is really my first fall back home in 5 years!!! Every other fall I have been in Texas and not been home until Thanksgiving when it's basically over. So yaay for Autumn.


Also it is gospel meeting week at Kirkwood and so far the guy, David Thomley, has given two really great sermons. Dan and I both thought that they were really motivating lessons and hopefully ones that we will not soon forget.


Happy Fall Y'all! (my mom has a sign on our backdoor that says that, and it makes me smile everyday when i see it. lol)

I haven't been on pleonast so long I had to remember my password and then figure out this new interface.
It's cool I guess... I kinda like it.


So for those of you who haven't given up on me and still have me in your friends list, I'll give you the run-down of
what's going on!!! And you can act like you care!! :)


So it's a little over 2 months from now that I'll be getting married! aaaaah!! No really, I couldn't BE more excited!!!
I'm marrying the BEST friend I could ever have and the one person it doesn't matter what we're doing, it's fun.
Everyone says 'marriage won't be what you expect and bla bla about the hard times'... and yeah, we acknowledge that
difficult times may arise, but honestly I'm not worried about it and I think we pretty much do know what to expect from eachother.
I'll give you 5 bucks if ANYTHNG surprises me.

I can't believe it's been four years now, that we've spent eeeeevery waking opportunity together, doing eeeeeeeverything together.
It helps that we enjoy doing the same things... and even things that we didn't think we liked to do, we have grown to like
because of the other person. Whether is yelling at the tv during a football game, cooking together, walking around, working out,
or just sitting around laughing at eachother.. Okay, I could go on and on but hey, marriage is gonna be amazing.


So there's the main thing, the other thing is just the whole school and job thing. I'm in my first semester of Library classes,
which has turned out to be more about computers and the internet of course, and how to access any information in the world. It's cool
and interesting in a way, but I have learned more about the Internet than I really cared to know.... and also just the amount of
information out there and ways to access it is overwhelming. But hey, call on me if you need to find out which replacement cap
and nearest place to get it for that broken part of your oil rig out in the ocean. We really talked about that.

And then the job thing. Hahahahha. I have really enjoyed not working, but the fact is that I need to or else we won't be able to eat.
Lol. I have a final meeting today for a position as an Applied Behavior Analisis worker for a child. It'll be a hard job, but it's a good
opportunity and won't be as stressful as being a teacher while doing graduate school, too.

And then the ooooother thing is Dan and I have found an apartment we just might be getting! It is little and old... but it will be OUR
little old apartment. It'll be fun I think.


Well, that's just about it for now. I might try to start getting back on here more... I don't know we'll see!!!
