I'M AN AUNT AGAIN!!

my SIL had Quinn Mason McClure on Saturday, May 15, 2010 19" and 7lb 2oz.

He is quite cute for only being a few days old. AND i'm so happy he is finally here!! YAY for another nephew!

TExES Content Exam

I passed and I'm so excited!! This test was very tricky because it is a new version of the TExES content test which has only been issued a few times. I knew after I took the test that I was either going to hardly fail it or hardly pass it... but passing is passing!!!


Now I have to take the PPR which is like an ethics-ish test.

anyway.... i'm off to bed cause i've got a practice ppr at 8am!

Workin' Out!!

So I am determined to lose 2 dress sizes before my wedding day (March 19, 2011).

I've never really worked out or had to lose weight before because I was really active all through school. Now that I've been out of school and in college, I have gained my fair share of the freshmen__ (insert number here).

For all the active people out there, what are your favorite excercises? I'm trying to get ideas and get motivated to reach my goal. I've got 366 days to lose 2 dress sizes... maybe 3, so I know I can do it.

So... if you have suggestions or words of encouragment... please share!!

    One year! You can do it. I enjoy sports like volleyball or tennis. That's a fun way to burn the calories. Also those machines at the gym are pretty good because you can work out while watching tv and stuff. Also, it's good to mix in some yoga or pilates with your cardio.

    Walking, water aerobics, yard work & chasing a 2 year around. :) I had a lot of success with Weight Watchers. I lost 33 from April 9th to October 15th. ~ Good Luck on your goal!!! :)

Last Spring Break of College

Jen informed me last night that this is my last spring break of college... and i should be doing something super fun. and insead i'm babysitting all week. I've never really done anything for spring break in the past so it's fine with me that i'm babysitting instead of going on a trip or whatev. i'm watching a 4 and 6 year old and they are pretty crazy. i think this week we will be playing outside a lot and going to the park a lot. perhaps we will even go to the jump house and maybe go see a movie (are there any good kid movies out?).

one of my professors gave us homework over spring break... IS SHE CRAZY!? i think yes.

overall.... if you get to go on a trip for SB be safe, if your relaxing at home... wonderful!, and most of all just enjoy spring break!!




(the great thing about going into the education field is i will ALWAYS have a spring break and one of these days I will do something SUPER fun with it!)

    There's a new jump house in Leander (I think it's off of Bagdad Rd.) & it's half priced Monday & Wednesday. We haven't been yet, but I really want to take Jacob. Enjoy your Spring Break! :)

    I am watching Katie and Ben over Spring break too. :) But it is a lot of fun. I also plan to get a pedicure so that will be fun too. No big trip for me this spring break either, but maybe over the summer! And like you said, as a teacher, you always get spring break, so that's a plus!
