earthshake!!!

Yesterday morning in church there was an earthquake. It shook the pew! I hadn't felt one in a long time so it was kinda exciting.

This morning I woke up to another! It felt a little harder this time, and it kinda kept coming, so I laid there in the shaking bed thinking of what I would do if it got bigger. Luckily it just stopped.

2 earthquakes in 46 hours!

Here's the freaky part: just 3 days ago, a friend told me that a few years before 9/11 they heard that the 3 major disasters most likely to occur in the United States would be:
1. A terrorist attack on New York
2. A hurricane in New Orleans
3. A major earthquake in Southern California.

....grrreat.

i felt neither of those shakes. i've only felt one, and it seemed like a giant leaned against the side of the house for a split second, and that was it!

when youre straddling the san andreas fault i wouldnt exactly call an earthquake exciting. its like being hog-tied to some railroad tracks and being excited when you hear the whistle of a train.

I'm a little ashamed to admit it, but I always kind of hoped there would be a little earthquake while I was there... not a bit one, just so I could feel it.
