me vs. tree

Watchin a guy rip open a fish with his teeth on man vs. wild on the discovery channel makes me glad I have food to eat.

On a lighter note, I just got back from snowboarding at mammoth!!!!
...some things that rocked...
~hangin out with great family friends i've known my whole life
~waking up in a cabin to snow falling
~hot tub and sauna after a long, hard, sweet day of boarding
~seein your breath and eating snow in the hot tub! (just the white kind of course)
~getting nice and toasty after being FREEZING!
~hearin def leppard, flaming lips, and other good stuff comin down the mountain!

Most people stay away from trees while they snowbard or ski, but I dared to be different. Hey, I got a cool souvenier at the end of the day when I found a 3 inch little branch sticking out of my jacket at my stomach.

I'm especially proud of my daddy, who at a ripe age of 50, with a healing lip wound from a frisbee attack the week before, tore it up on a snowboard with us youngins on the slopes. He ended up with some pretty colors on his left eye from the double black diamond, but i'd say he did pretty good for an ol' man.

It was 11 degrees this morning. It stayed around 18, and didn't get above 26 until we had driven for a long long time. I love the snow!

We made a lil stop at walmart on the way home, 'cept it said WAL ART. we laughed a lot.

I like my family. I also like picking my dad's brain about every classic rock band when the song that comes on.
