When I saw the photo of the changing table before I got to that part of the post, I thought you had chosen the name Emmerson, which Firefox tells me is not a legitimate spelling.

Having a baby is probably the best thing a woman who enjoys projects could do :-)

Thank you! We are so excited. And the baby is NOT going to be named Emmerson. I'm excited to work on all my projects. We hope to start painting Baby's room this weekend!

I remember how much fun Christmas became when we had our first house. We already had two kids before we were able to buy, though.

I got some of the outdoor decorations that my parents were no longer putting up, stuff they had made themselves. And, of course, we had to have the family over to our house for Christmas that year.

We are! So much. And we finally got the outside lights to work! I wish I could convince our family to come to our house for Christmas... but alas, tis not "tradition." Haha. One day.
