My baby hurt her baby finger at soccer yesterday.
Don't know if it's broken or not. Probably so, but I guess we will check it out Monday. She's not wanting to go to an ER after her last experience and doesn't want to have to sit and wait to be seen for hours. All they will do is x-ray it anyway and send us to The Orthopaedic Institute. (I don't want to go and be exposed to whatever flues and viruses their other patients might have. ) We only had $50 left to pay them from her elbow injury, but surely this injury won't be as expensive as that one...hopefully, it will just need to be wrapped to the other one.

Definitely wise to avoid the ER. When my Charlotte broke her arm we took her to the ER and they did a bunch of x-rays, thought it was out of socket and tried several times to put it back in even though it was already in, splinted it and sent us to the orthopedist the next day. The only thing the ER did give us: the flu. Poor Charlotte was not even 2 yet and had the flu and a big pink cast on her arm. -
Sorry to hear of Rebecca's injury. The agony of sport! -
I hope she has a good day tomorrow then! -
Update! Jason looked at it and said it's not dislocated and the bone is still the way it should be. He said all they would do IF it is broken, is splint it and wrap to the finger beside it, so we bo't a splint at Walgreens and she is getting to where she can move it. So glad that was an easy injury to deal with!
