it's been awhile since i've posted... i was gonna say nothing exciting has happened to post about, but that's not really true. maybe too much exciting stuff has happened to post about.
i deleted my myspace account recently, so if i was your friend on there, that's why i'm not on your friends list anymore.
pretty much just working and hanging out these days. going to a couple of good shows pretty soon - The Shins and G. Love & Special Sauce. both should be fabulous!
looking forward to a couple upcoming cd releases...Bloc Party and Modest Mouse. i'm also looking forward to the Bonnaroo lineup being announced. Coachella's lineup is pretty good, but i don't think the timing/dates are going to work out unfortunately. it's just not spring/summer w/ out a good music festival.
i need to plan some vacations...hopefully trips to Houston & Tampa will be scheduled before too long.
life can be confusing, frustrating, and draining at times. thank goodness for the happy times in between!
here is one of my favorite pics from christmas... i was just about to take a "self-portrait" w/ my bro when he started tickling me. it turned out pretty cute anyway i guess...especially considering i hate being tickled.

I was semi-disappointed by the Brand New CD also, but had my expectations under control for that one. The only song on that CD that I like a whole lot is the first song... YEAH!!! :)

welcome, winter...
when i went to bed at midnight... there were icy power lines laying across the top of my pretty, new, shiny jeep... but my apartment was warm & cozy. i kept waking up to loud crashing noises...hoping it wasn't a tree about to bust through my rooftop and join me in bed. i heard a transformer blow, and saw an orange glow flooding into my apartment from down the road... heard sirens, falling ice chunks, freezing rain, and wind gusts all night...
at 6, i woke up & was freezing cold, had no power, and looked out the window...only to find this:
apparently i am one of many who are w/out power today...and they are saying it may be like this summer when people without power for a week. luckily, i have my parents to come rescue me & bring me to their cozy house... so now i sit here like a kid w/ a snow day from school... surfing the web w/ a fire going in the fireplace! i'm hoping my aptmt will be a priority for the power company since the lines that fell across my jeep are attached to a meter (that is now ripped off the house) at the neighbor's house. we'll see.
anyway, good luck to everyone who is northeast of here!! :) and for the st. louis area people, hopefully you are all enjoying a day off work or school!

oh, it's definitely damaged. that branch was really heavy. i have a huge dent on the roof and several little dings all over... :/ i am still without power... the snow & ice are beautiful though! -

A show I watched last night or this morning on G4. Basically, 100 ninjas start the obstacle courses. They have to climb, jump, and hang all the way to the top. As far as last night, no one made it. I think very few have won.

HOWEVER, it was an AMAZING GAME, and i'm so glad the CARDINALS won!! tonight will probably be rained out...so it might be two games tomorrow...
