Packing

4 outfits apiece enough underwear for a week,dress clothes for Sunday, shoes better put a jacket in remember it's Michigan. Always rains on the weekend and turns cooler. You can almost bet on it. Did my grocery shopping because we take our own cereal and snacks instead of shopping after we get there. Groceries are more expensive up there and I don't want to shop while there.

A surprise while we are up there. Well actually two. My SIL let me know she is doing a yard sale that weekend and if we're staying with her I guess I'll be helping with that. The best surprise is that Stan's sister who lives in New York is going to be there so we will extend our stay by a day maybe two so we can see her. It's been several years since we've seen her. My sister in law is taking us all in and I don't think I could do that and have a yard sale but she is an organizer and probably has everything set and ready to go. I"m hoping she lets us take care of some of the meals by going out and I'm set to help her in the yard sale Friday.

I'll wait till tomorrow to pack last minute things and we'll see what I end up forgetting. :-)If I don't leave something or forget something on a trip we haven't been anywhere. I have to find out how to get on my mail but I'll try and keep you posted.

Hey we even cleaned the car for this trip. Nothing like going all out.

Appreciate the prayers. Dr. Bob said everything looked good. I didn't get to talk to him or I would have asked whats caused the problem that sent me to him to begin with.
Have tried to sleep with no luck so I'll just wait till tonight. I'm thankful for the results. Now we will try and get ready to go to Michigan.

Just got off the phone with my BIL and you can tell by his voice he is going downhill fast. I hope we get to go right after I get my scope done next week. I wish one of Stan's brother would offer a bedroom but we're just going to stay in a motel and call it a vacation. If we have to stay longer maybe they will offer. They found another tumor when they did the MRI and it had been there all along. Bill is so upset I hope I can handle it when we see him. They cancelled the chemo because he is so thin wanting him to pick up some weight but he can't eat. He realizes he is dying and doesn't know what to do plus they have him on morphine which is probably not helping his mental state. That stuff makes me goofy. We'd appreciate prayers mostly for his comfort and acceptance.

Got a little housework done today. Didn't have to go anywhere today. Surprise! Tomorrow chiorpractor. WW and Tops. We're having a pot luck to celebrate the winners at SRD.

That's about it for today but it beats reading the old post.

    I know you will be a big boost to your BIL when you see him.....so sorry for his health issues. Will pray for peace of mind and that he doesn't suffer too badly. I am sure the morphine is making him depressed.....Alsopraying your test goes well next week.
    got wedding on my mind but always have time to pray for my friends and their family or friends who need extra care.
