April 2012
I've been published in two books that just came out. No word from my publisher on the book I'm writing for them. We'll see what happens there, but if they decide to scrap it I know a guy who works for a self publishing company and I'll just go thru them instead.
Anyways the two books I'm a contributor in are "Handspun" by Lexi Boeger and "The Complete Guide to Spinning Yarn" by Brenda Gibson.

So that's exciting. Brian loves his job. He looks forward to work every day. He loses track of time from being so busy and happy. It's wonderful. I'm keeping our tiny apartment tidy and staying productive. Working on coordinating all the plans for getting the rest of our stuff from Oregon, selling our car in Oregon, and paying off debt quickly. I've signed up to be the Bible class teacher for the preschoolers at the Boston Metro church of Christ. We're covering Exodus, which is pretty much going to be the coolest preschool class ever. I went to a local yarn shop the other day with a basket of yarns and fibers. The lady who runs the shop is very sweet. They've been in business 14 years and they are a co-op of local artists. For an 80/20 commission (where I take home 80%) I can work at the shop 12 hours a month (3 days a month, 4 hours a day). The shop is only 10 minutes away. I can put as much yarn as I want to in the shop, any of my fibers. I can also teach classes there. I can do monthly "yarn clubs" or "fiber clubs" where people sign and pay for 3/6/9 months of yarn/fiber at once and then I bring in their next fiber/yarn each month. There are many options that flow seamlessly with my online shop that make me happy.
God has given us a beautiful life. Such a beautiful life. Every day I wake up thankful.
I want to share one of my favorite Bible movies with you. It's called "The Gospel of Matthew".
It's a verse by verse (NIV) movie of the book of Matthew. Click Here to Watch it on YouTube.
And thanks to Robyn who noticed my post was originally titled "April 2010". I didn't even blink an eye. Apparently I'm 2 years behind. Woah.
