I'm a licensed architect now! Yipee! 30, working a little too hard, unmarried but enjoying life. I think of you all often and hope you are well.

In Duluth, MN kicking back with my folks, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Cousin-in-laws. I got to see my Uncle's new log cabin on a lake... very nice and I learned that my Granny can fly a Concord (well she can play an organ, but it looks like the cock-pit of a fighter jet).
Otherwise, I'm thoroughly enjoying NOT being at work.

He always answers prayers, but I especially love the ones that I don't even pray for... He's just watching out for our best interests.
I'm trying to buy a condo with the Lyons, and perhaps we'll take over Houston one condo at a time. :)
Otherwise, I lament to say that I can't worship at Eastside anymore as it's just too far away and I cannot be as active as I'd like. I hope you Eastsiders understand... we're still brothers and sisters... and what a great group of the Lord's people... great elders, great preacher, great family!

Hey ya'll.
Very sorry 'bout the delay... you see I came to Kirksey at the end of a very tough project (a bank at Cinco Ranch) and had to pull all kinds of crazy hours. THIS WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN!!!! Otherwise, life in Houston is purdy good. I'm really enjoying getting to know my Eastside Family (the church) a little better. I still have not been able to go real-estate hunting like I'd like, but all in it's good time.
Hope you are well!

yes folks, as a new professional, I now look forward to Fridays... the gateway to the weekend. Guess what I have planned? NOTHING!!! Better plan something quick to keep me off the mean streets of H-town. Any ideas? Next week is the Southside lectures... hope to see a lot of you there.
Be well and try some wasabi green peas... you'll love 'em.
(BTW - found you through her blog.)
