Council on Foreign Relations. Look up some reason people are critical of it and who is a member. What the organization has acomplished and why its probabky a good idea to have president who doesn't try to promote their policies.

Promote the CFR's policies. They promote MASSIVE intervention, basicly "Grand Chessboard" style things, AIPAC Cleanbreak, and Balkanization tactics to keep the area's from advancing into 1st world.

check this out. let's look at some of the members: bill clinton, john edwards, john kerry, dick cheney, robert gates, fred thompson, and a host of corporate members. pay enough money, and you too can be part of an exclusive private society bent on controlling foreign policy the world.

thompson is a moderate at best, just like almost everyone else out there. it's time for a true fiscal, social, and foreign policy conservative.

I was just pointing out that web traffic... conflicts with the polls. Polls are not traditionally very accurate. Also, the logic you are using... give polls too much power, you are choosing your candidate because of the polls. I'm choosing mine because I agree with him. If you agree with Fred Thompson then go for it, but you are going to have to convince me why Fred Thompson is a conservative. Also, I would encourage you to read some of Pat Buchanan's books. Like State of Emergency, and Where the Right Went Wrong. I regard Pat Buchanan to be MOST inline with my views, where as I differ slightly with Ron Paul on a few small things, I believe he will set this country on the right path more so than others. The American way isn't to support the status quo, it is to Defend and Protect .... the Constitution... did you know that is what the President swears to uphold... not to defend and protect us. Though he is give the power to fight to defend us, his primary job is not to protect us in all ways. That is a fundamental problem with government today, they are HUGE, and have their hands in everyones business. What good is defending a socialist America. I would rather live in a free world that doesn't focus on threats, and capitualate freedom at any little ounce of trouble rather than live in a dysotopian world constantly reminding us how "they hate us becuase we have freedoms, so let us have a bigger government (the antithesis of freedom) and we'll protect you. If you Fred Thompson won't make the government less intrusive... less socialist... then you can't convince me to vote for him.

i was just referring to your sarcastic comment that it "looks like Ron Paul is leader of the pack." you were obviously implying i should vote for someone popular. if i were going to use your logic, i might as well vote for McCain just so rudy doesn't win. being realistic, Thompson probably isn't going to triple his popularity in time for the primaries. that doesn't mean i would give up if i agreed with him. same thing with ron paul.

furthermore, i don't see where all this hostility is coming from. i never said a word to you about any of this and you started launching irrational emotional attacks on my blog. it's really all unnecessary and there are much more mature ways to discuss the issues.

Office

Can you believe last night?

I just have a few comments about the show.

1. Thank you Jan! Wow

2. From now on, I don't care about paychecks. My only goal in life is to obtain Schrute bucks and Stanley nickels...preferably Stanley nickels.

3. I may be one of the only people who wants Jim to be with Karen. Everybody is rooting for Pam and Jim to get together. Do you guys not remember how bad she blew him off at the end of season 2!!! HELLO!!! I hope their date doesn't work out!

4. Creed is slowly becoming one of my favorite characters.

5. Who is going to be the new temp?

Wow...It's been a while!

In lieu of The Office Season 3 winding down, I thought I would post my favorite all-time quotes from the show. Feel free to share your favorites or just laugh at the ones that I remember.

Michael: AIDS is not funny. Believe me, I have tried. There are certain topics that are off-limits to comedians. JFK. AIDS. The Holocaust. The Lincoln assassintation just recently became funny. “I need to see this play like I need a hole in the head.” And I hope to someday live in a world where a person could tell a hilarious AIDS joke. It’s one of my dreams.

Michael Scott: [referring to race role-playing exercise] You'll notice, I didn't have anybody being Arab. I thought that would be too explosive, uh, no pun intended. But I just thought, 'too soon' for Arabs, maybe next year. You know, the ball's in their court.

Dwight: Jim said that you can buy gaydars on the internet.

Kevin: Jim has got it bad for Pam.
Creed: Oooh! ...Which one is Pam?

Michael Scott: Did you learn that on the streets? Oh, I'm sorry...
Stanley: No it's okay, I did learn it on the streets, on the ghetto, in fact.
Michael Scott: No kidding...
[later, to the camera]
Stanley: It's all about my bonus.

Dwight Shrute: I even come in on holidays.
Michael Scott: You do? How do you get in?
Dwight Shrute: I have a copy of your key.
Jan: That is a serious offense.
Michael Scott: That is a serious offense, very serious. As is toying with a man's heart.

That triangle thing is an optical illusion. You can notice that the hypotenuse of the top one bends in, while the bottom one bends out. Turns out, some of the pieces aren't even triangles because of this. If all 4 pieces were in fact triangles, then having that hole wouldnt be possible.
