mickey mouse

Leah is playing with her toys and watching mickey mouse. She is good about entertaining herself. She has her tote of toys and she just digs around in it and finds what she wants. Usually she grabs all her books first. I enjoy watching her flip through the pages :) Being a mom is so much fun! We are still working on that first tooth...haha! Talk about stubborn. You can barely see it, but it is already CUTE!!

I have been working in the flowerbeds a lot. Last year, they got away from me since I was pregnant. One of my goals this year, was to buy more plants that will return each year. There are still 2 flowerbeds that I have not cleaned out and put anything in. Hopefully I will get flowers in one and the other cleaned out. We will see...

Several weeks ago, Ben came home with ducks, chickens, and guineas! I feel like I live on a farm...in the city! haha. He would also like a cow and a goat. Just FYI!!!

-Ben's grandma Jean is doing well. She will be moved to a skilled nursing facility tomorrow and she is looking forward to the move. She is able to move her left leg and arm, so she is making progress!!
-My aunt Tracy is doing better. They are hoping she will be able to return home next week!
We are so thankful for their recovery so far!

Well, that is all I can think of right now. I always forget what I was going to say when I start typing on here!

    I agree with Mother. Your reports are enjoyable. I know you'll be happy with blooming plants in the years ahead. When we arrived home, the white irises were in full bloom that Kim had given me at your wedding. This is the first time they have bloomed so I was very happy to get home and enjoy them. Purple ones beside them are also blooming. Yeah! Leah plays well by herself. Motherhood sure is fun.
