TEA Party....

I have decided that today the kids and I will go to a TEA Party. This will be what they learn today:


1. We, as Amenricans, should not let our government refuse to control their spending! One day my kids will be responsible for this debt!

2. We have the right to peacefully and publicly disagree with our government.

3. We have the right to speak freely about our objections.


4. Finally, learning that being an active part of their government is not only a right and privilage, but a responsibility that they have as an American in order for there to be true a representation of the people in this country.

OK....so some of these things may be a little idealisic, however, kids need to be taught that they have an important job when they get older to stay informed about the direction their country is going and taking actions to help lead this country in the best possible direction.

There is nothing like a fun hands-on experience to teach these things to little minds.

Counting Days

Kayla is sick...

UPDATE....

Kayla is still running 104.5 and Emily is now running 101...((SIGH))

Oh well, 2 down.....hopefully no one else!!!

We have been doing SO good this year.....avoiding all the sickness. Well it caught up to us....Kayla is sick with fever and "I don't know what else" . It's so hard when they can't tell you where or if something hurts. Hope it doesn't pass!!
