VBS

We have VBS this week. I am teaching the 3-4 year olds, which should make for an interesting, fun time. We are doing "Rise and Shine for Jesus", with a barnyard animal theme. I'm really excited about it. I always liked VBS growing up, so I hope they have a good time this week.

So, any one have any fun VBS stories? Any songs or cool activities that you did? I'm teaching the 7-8 year old class next quarter, so if you have any ideas/suggestions for that age too, let me know. :)

LOST

I know most people are finishing their "LOST" experience, but I am just getting started. I have only watched the first five episodes.

HOW HAVE I MISSED OUT ON THIS SHOW FOR SIX YEARS?!?!

I'm a big fan of mind-twisting movies and plot lines. I can't believe that I did not start watching this show sooner.

Please don't tell me anything about the show, but if you have a general, non-spoiler comment to make about the show, feel free. :)

The beginning of your post is so hilarious! " I know most people are finishing their "LOST" experience..." =P I have never seen the series either. I didn't know I was missing out on so much. =P I'll have to check it out sometime.

The Boys Are Back in Town...

It's Opening Day at Turner Field and there's nothing like a 16-5 victory to start the season off right!

I am so excited that baseball is back!!! I hope the Braves give Bobby a fantastic final season!

Missing Pages

Today I was enjoying my "snow" day by reading a book I ordered back in January and I just hadn't read yet. I was halfway through the book, and when I went from one page to the next page, the story didn't make any sense. I tried rereading the previous page, but I couldn't figure out what the author was trying to say. I've read this author before, and she always has a consistent story line that's easy to follow. I eventually looked at the page numbers.

It went from page 160 to page 192!!!!!! No wonder the story wasn't making any sense!!

Thankfully, I called the company that I ordered the book from and they are going to send me another copy. Now I just have to wait 3-10 business days to finish reading the book!!

Oh, I had that happen once, but it was a library book, so I just returned it and hoped they'd get a new one.

I hope you enjoy the book when it comes in! Out of curiosity, what are you reading?

"California Brides" by Cathy Marie Hake. It's actually three short novels in one book, and I was right in the middle of the second book!!

I know! It's creepy and hilarious at the same time! The picture at the end is soo weird! =P Everybody is going good. We celebrated Jeff's birthday last saturday and had a lot of fun visiting with him. Jenn and I are going to see Joel and Anna in March for spring break and we are super excited!! Can't wait to see them! This will be the first plane flight I really remember and my first time to be out of the States!

School is going really well for Jenn and me but I don't think I've ever been so busy in my life! Last week I had four papers to either write or revise, two tests on the same day to study for, another test on the following Friday, and a few other projects to work on. I'm glad last week is over!! =P This week isn't so busy.

I've probably asked you this before but what age group are you teaching?

Yep, this is probably the busiest semester I've had at school so far.

Joel and Anna moved to Puerto Rico last October. They love it there! They will be back in the State in the summer probably when the weather there stays over 100 degrees every day. Anna might be fine but Joel would die. lol! It will be starting to get hotter when Jen and I go next week.

Lol! sorry, I don't envy the that age in teaching. I hope things are going well for you though. =)
