Hello again.

It's been a while, and I apologize.
I know I said some things that carried a weight of finality. I guess that's what you get when you deal with a misanthropic writer such as I.

Or me? No, it's I.
And I'm not misanthropic. Though if I were, I could call Greg House a fraternal brother. Not bad company, eh?


I have been writing though. I won a spot in a writing contest among online "fans" of a certain author...and ended up tying for second place as the Best Overall Writer. I'm not here to gloat or congratulate myself, but I went back and looked at the last post I wrote some six months or so ago, and I was just...well...surprised. I had finally done it. I had finally written something that I could come back to and read again with fresh eyes and nod at the ending. My character didn't have to die and I killed him anyway. C'est la vie, eh?

No promises, but I'll see if I can't get my parking validated here, or at least lean against the brick wall outside chewing on the Charms Blowpop with my collar flipped, trying to look tough but looking more like a plump, nondescript white guy with poofy hair.

My one regret at the wedding was not having a goatee. For that, I have to thank Family Video. Company policy: no facial hair. I'm glad we parted ways.



Family Video and I parted ways, that is. ;)
