REVELATION
I have always thought of Revelation as a book full of imagery that I don't understand and therefore have often overlooked the book almost entirely. However, after recently reading through the book of Revelation, I realized what I had been missing. In failing to read Revelation, I had deprived myself of some of the hopeful images of Heaven that God intended for us to see.
Saints and angles praising the LORD:
"You are worthy, O Lord, to recieve glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created."(4:11)
"Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to recieve power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing."(5:12)
Separation from Satan:
"The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."(20:10)
Hope of the faithful:
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away....He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son."(21:4,7)
We shall behold the glory of God and His Son:
"The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. the Lamb is its light."(21:23)
I engourage everyone to read the book of Revelation through without intimidation. No one entirely understands the mind of God, but it is exciting that we can study His words every day and continue to better understand His perfect plan. The book of Revelation is challenging, but we must read every word that God has given us because He has given them all for a purpose.

Hi, this is April from camp. How are you? -
I'm leaving for FC on August 16. My parents had to make it a short trip, because they are teachers and their schools start on Monday. I'm glad they are moving me down there though. I would not want to go by myself as a freshman. -
Oh, and the last HP book may rival the fourth book for the best one of the series. (in my opinion anyway) I just finished it today. -
I'm doing good how about you? can i be in ur friends?? -
you know that Dan is our new preacher?? Heather and him live like 15-20 min. from me. -
Hey SHelly! -
LOVE YOU!!!!! -
If we are still able to make it down there then it would be on the 19thish of August...or whatever close date is the Sunday. -
As long as it's fine with my parents, I would like you and Ben and Dan and maybe Nathan, if he can make it, to come up for the afternoon or something for games and singing or some of that sort of thing. :) -
