After more than a year and a half of lifelessness, I felt it was time. Yesterday I made a momentous decision and with loving hands, some new pull cord, a little WD40, and too-many-to-count attempts to start, I brought life back to my lawn mower. I then mowed down the unusual tares that were taking unfair advantage of my St. Augustine grass that has suffered through this most unusual winter. Quite satisfying!

Today was my last official day at work for 2009 as I will be burning vacation for the remainder of the year. Consequently, I will dashing out early to do my Xmas shopping. Wanda handles the bulk of "our shopping" because, let's face it, she is better equipped having tons more of the shopping gene than I do. I get to buy her gifts from her 2-page, small font, Gifts for all Occasions list. We both have these lists on the desktop of our computers to make sure if one of us gets the bug to buy the other one something that we have a good chance of buying them something they will actually want. Score one for me as this was my idea.
Merry Ho Ho to you all.

How do I learn about how to create and manage a web site? I looked at on-line courses at the local community college and they were $3,000. I thought about just buying the software and reading the book but that sounds too mechanized and not terribly creative. I understand about registering a domain name and paying a service to host the site, but how do you take the first step toward making it happen?
Also, what features do you find most useful on church web sites?
HELP!!!
