RE-start(:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I re-discovered Pleonast the other day, to find out that I really miss it. I was wanting to start a blog of some sorts just for a way to express some things and possibly get some imput. But Mom and I checked into it, and blogging like that is not the safest thing in the world. SO needless to say Pleonast is the next best thing(: I know that not a lot of people get on here anymore, because obviously Facebook has become the more popular thing. But this is safe blogging so here I go(:
Life with me so far this summer has been absolutely GREAT! Mom and Dad helped me apply for a summer job at Beech Bend, which is a Water and Amusement park. Beech Bend is several steps down from say Holiday World, but if your a little kid you are most likely not worried that the Red slide looks quite a bit more pink now, or that the Wave pool's waves are just a tad shy of BIG, but I mean its where I work and close to home, and the people I work with are fun and sweet. And all in all I have a good time. So I thank God, that He was able to provide me with a job despite any cons that it may have! But the rest of the Family is getting along just fine, Riley and Gracie are not doing any sports, so this means more time for Mom to be able to relax at home this summer since Dad is working 10 hour days at Vanderbilt (which he absolutely loves by the way!) And for mom to re-coop before the school year starts. Because both Gracie and Riley have been adament about running Cross Country with me..well probably minus me because of my jaw surgery which I will elaborate more on later! But then Madelyn is (against her wishes, but because of pressing mom(: ) playing soccer, and Molly might be included as well. But Rush rush RUSH! Haha, and Dad is hopefully getting accepted into this program that would actually almost guarentee his entrance into the Army full time, and this will last 4 months (August to December), so during Fall and half of Winter season sports everything will be burdened upon mom..and me maybe after I get my Liscense in September!! All in all? This is a good break for mom, before the upcoming activites!
Now, for the promised elaboration of Jaw surgery! I have a malocclusion..which to the rest of you lucky straight teeth normal jawed folk is a underbite(: haha. And in my case my lower jaw is in fact longer than my upper jaw making my mouth basically the upside down version of an a-typical mouth. So my Orthodontist recommended me to Dr. Vansicles in Lexington to recorrect it. And his plans for this jaw surgery are that he will go in through my upper gum and saw through it, and re-alline my teeth and jaw, and place some brackets to keep the jaw secure. I am a little scared because I dont know exactly how it will go, but I have had a good friend also go through this same procedure and he is alive and well, so that gives me hope(: I sound so dramatic, but goodness it is just a tad scary yes? That is on the 11th of July, so in 25 days..yes I am counting down..eating just about every good thing that mom can make or get because I will be on a liquid diet for 2-3 weeks. And the Surgeon said that I would lose 10-30 pounds. I most definitely DO NOT want to look like a little anorexic twig, so I am eating quite heartily, although I dont know if I am gaining(: haha. But all that news is quite exciting in a nervousy type of way!
Well that is all the TOP headlines in the Wharton household that I can think of at present, now for the subheadings:
Right now we are in the roaring city of Atlanta Georgia with the grandparents, and here for a week. 2 more days really, since we have been here 2..but thats not a week more like a half of a week. What was I thinking? But anyways, mom and dad also came along if you were wondering. And today just so happens to be there 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! Thats quite a large number if you think about it, more than I have even existed. That is something to be proud of!! But since we are at the grandparents mom and dad were able to go out and do grown up things I expect(: eating out..you know maybe catch a movie or go see some fireworks..or maybe dad went all romantic and made a picnic, and they plan to go star gazing! There are endless possibilities to what they are going to do! haha. But they have the evening alone, so that must be worth something, right? But I love them dearly, and maybe later I will catch you up on what all they did do :D
Hmm what else needs to be posted? I dont think there needs to be any more updating, so I will just create this entry and possibly catch up on more of the goings on of what other fellow pleonasters are posting!!
Love to you all- sheldot♥

Wow! Sounds like there is a lot going on in your family. Thanks for the update. I hope and will pray that your surgery goes well. I can understand the liquid diet thing. When I was in 7th grade I busted my four front teeth to the middle of my mouth and they had to put them back. The thing they wired it back into place with looked like a weather cold/hot front on the weather channel. I had to be on a liquid diet for a while too. I don't remember how long but I remember getting so sick of it that I told mom I was going to make myself a lunch meat sandwich and cut it in baby size pieces and gum it till I could swallow. Happy anniversary to your parents. Kevin and I are celebrating 3yr anniversary today. : ) Tell the family hello for me please.
