Bible Class Curriculum

Shaping Hearts for God is Bible class curriculum for students ages 2 years old through 6th grade. The curriculum consists of twelve series that span three years. Each series is a thirteen-week study. Components of the curriculum include 2s & 3s Class in a Box, Student Workbooks at four levels, Teacher's Lesson Guides, and Teaching Resources notebook.

The Shaping Hearts for God web site is presently under construction. It should be available within a few days at www.shapingheartsforgod.org

It would be great to hear from people using the curriculum or from those who have questions about it.

Thanks for the note. I checked the lessons at the end of Take Time To Be Holy and the beginning of I'm in the Lord's Army. I think perhaps Lesson 13 title threw you off. The Bible mateiial is correct -- from Numbers right into Deuteronomy. Lesson 13 is entitled "Finally Possessing the Land" and would probably be more accurately called "Getting Ready to Enter the Land." At the end of Numbers, the Israelites are at the Plains of Moab, preparing to enter Canaan. The entire book of Dueteronomy is set in the Plains of Moab as Moses speaks to the people to get them ready to enter. His themes are loving and obeying God -- the themes of the first two lessons in Lord's Army.

One reason I started this blog is to get feedback and to share ideas.

I am fixing to start the curriculum for K-2nd Grades next month. I have a question about the teacher's manuals - there is no reference to what is intended to be covered for each lesson. Am I missing something? I am having to use a student's book to know what to cover each week.

One Teacher's Lesson Guide serves workbooks at four levels. The teacher will use suggestions and ideas and modify them according to the age of the students. For this reason, the specific material covered is not cited in the Teacher's Guide. The Guide is designed to use alongside of the Student Workbook that cites the specific objectives, Bible Readings, and point of emphasis

I'm new to your series, but am interested in purchasing some material. My class has a 2 year old, a 3 year old and a 4 year old and I'm wondering what level would be best for this age range?

Just wanted to tell you that this is wonderful material. I had to teach a class ranging from 2yrs-9years and this made everything so much easier! Thank you. Now I am teaching 1rst-4th grade and it is also going very smoothly. The application lessons are great and the suggestions are good as well. Thanks so much.

I taught a preschool class that had crayon shaped erasers. I don't know where they purchased them, but it would work for props for your song.
