Well, I don't know about y'all, but I've completely lost track of pleonast. But since my beautiful wife asked me to, I decided to update.

How is my beautiful wife, you ask? Well, we and our son, Russell, are doing fantastically. We are still in Nacogdoches at Stephen F. Austin. Luckily, that won't be for much longer. I will be graduating this coming August with a Bachelor's in Science in General Biology. Sarah doesn't get to graduate until December, so I'll be working full time for JCPenney's until she does. If I need to, I might try and get another part time job at Blockbuster or Hastings just to add to the income a little.

Once Sarah graduates, we'll be off, most likely to Pasadena so that I can attend Texas Chiropractic College. I've also looked into Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, but I am leaning more towards Pasadena. I've started the application process for both schools and I'm getting really excited one way or another. But until then, I'm stuck here.

On the up side, Sarah and I do get to go to Alpine out in West Texas from May 13 - 19 with her parents. We will be going to Woodward Ranch where I hope there will be some good birding. This semester I've been taking an Ornithology class and ever since then I've been bird crazy. Speaking of, I saw my first hummingbird of the season today, but I only saw it once, and it never came back. I hope it will come back. We'll see.

Well, I'm actually taking a break right now from working on a presentation for Melaleuca alterifolia for my senior Seminar class. I guess I ought to get back to work. But before I do, I'd like to confess my undying love to my wife just so that I can publicly embarrass her.

Without her I would be nothing. I love you Sarah Elizabeth Richardson.

It's been just over a year since I last posted. Shows you what I've been up to. The last time I posted was after I proposed to my beautiful wife, Sarah Elizabeth. We've now been married for almost 7 months. Now we're waist deep in school and really not enjoying it, but we don't have too much longer to go. After I graduate (hopefully in May 2007) and after Sarah graduates (hopefully in December 2007), we will move to either Pasadena, TX or Dallas, TX for me to go to Chiropractic College for 3.5 years. After that, we'll go where I can get work, but the goal is to settle down in the Central Texas area, just north of Austin, maybe Marble Falls or someplace like that. Sarah will have to get a job and provide for me for those 3.5 years, but after that, my chiropracticness will hopefully provide for the both of us. Wish us luck and continue to pray for us. I guess I'll update my post in another year or so. Peace out, y'all.

Since Thursday, September 22, 2005, I have been engaged to a wonderful woman. Sarah Elizabeth Fryar, a marvelous beauty from Austin, agreed to be my wife.

I know I don't get on and update very often, but I thought that this was important enough to announce. I'm also happy to announce that both of us lived through Rita. It'll be a good story to tell our children. Quite a few trees fell in Nacogdoches, including one into the front of Sarah's parking lot, one behind my lovely trailer in front of the ugliest rusty barn you've ever seen, and a tree that had to be 10 feet around in the middle of campus.

But alas, we're all safe and I got a fiancee in the whole deal.

Y'all come back now, ya hear?

I see the end so far away.
I live my life from day to day.
Don't focus on the pain that I feel inside
Because that which I want has gone to hide.

It's three hours away and I don't get to see
it every day like it use to be.
But it'll be ok cause when Fall comes,
I'll head back to Nac with the football game drums.

Then I'll start school over with Genetics and Lit.
And I'll study real hard and I'll work towards it.
That "it" is my future, my goal soon to come.
It's in Pasadena: a doctor I'll become.

And what of my practice I have yet to decide.
Where will I live? And how will I provide
For a future family, most importantly a wife?
Those things get expensive, and she'll last my whole life.

But in the end I will be content.
A Christian future and family is my only intent.
There's much promise still there, much hope left for me.
I'll get to the end and then eternity.
