I want to share with you a wonderful person! My Dad!
I want to honor my Dad this Father's Day by sharing with those that did not get a chance to know or meet him. His name was Darel Engleka. He lived a beautiful life through the Lord Jesus Christ. In his example and leadership on this earth he still has all faithful childern (Mi'chal, Cybil, & Sean-Robert) including his son-in-law Steven Harvey. He was a great man that loved and cherished my mother, Cheryl Engleka.
He retired from the military as a Major in the Airforce serving this Christian country for 26 years. He continued working as a civilian Orthopedic PA in Arlington, Tx for the Arlington Orthopedic Associates. When he was not working at his job he was always working on something whether it was to help the family or church family. During his spare time he like to be around nature by hunting or fishing but mostly hunting. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan! He loved John Wayne, Rocky, and Clint Eastwood movies. He only listened to oldies music. He played and umped baseball through out his life. He would only buy Toyota trucks, he said they always out lived the other vehicles.
He is my Father and missed by many!! His death at 52 was so young but only strengthed my family!
I am so blessed to have been loved so much by a man that put the Lord first in his life! And I am even more blessed that my Mom is still here for me and my family because she too has been a strong light in our family to putting our Lord first!
Thank you for letting me share and learning a part of me and my family!!
Love
Cybil
