Worship and Praise

So at the congregation I am attending right now there is some inward struggle on the topic of worship and praise. So this is what it comes down to, some believe that worship and praise are none exculsive and when you are doing one you are doing the other. Others believe that praise is a form of worship, but is not always an act of worship. What are your thoughts and ideas?

So an example, that has been used, of praise that is not an act of worship is when you sing a hymn or praise song at home like when you are cleaning or just going about your daily routine.

Ok So I have been in the process of getting my Texas Teaching Certificate for the past 2 years, and now I have finally finished and passed my last test!

Yay! I'll have my certificate within a couple of weeks!

End of my year.

Well, it is coming down to the end of my school year. Do you remember how you used to count down the days to summer in grade school? Well teachers do it too, and are even more excited then the kids are, 15 to go, only 15 days, 15, 15, I can last that long.

Other news, I'm buying a house!!!!! It is not the mansion that I'm used to, but it is a house of my own. With a front and back yard, in a good family neighborhood. Plus it is only 2 minutes from church and about 15 from work. I'll probably post some pictures soon, closing is on May 29.

Friday is my birthday, I'm not saying this to remind all of you so you can send me a present, although I will except, but for the past three years i have forgotten my own birthday. How lame is that? This is the first year I am not traveling back from FC either back to Cali or now Texas, so I can actually enjoy it.

The Friends are coming to Houston on June 2nd, and I happen to be the one in charge of that for our area, it was kind of weird when Ralph called me up. So if you want any info on that please let me know.

I am traveling to Athens, Al on June 5th and am staying with LouLou, so I am sure most of my time will be taken by him and/or Watson, but if you are there I would love to see you.

Well, I am now done with my annual end of the school year post.
